"official" or rumor..Aug 31 end date for DDP?

Just wondering if someone heard this from a guide...I have read here some guides are like CM's...may have different "intel" if you will.
We arrive Aug 31, scheduled a tour for the 1st through the guide I have been speaking with...while DH and I have agreed on a DVC purchase, the double points enticed us. Would hate to miss out by one day.....we could put those points to good use!
Yes..I did leave a message with the guide I have been speaking with...still waiting....know how great everyone here is with responses!

Wow, had me nervous. Thats why I clicked on the thread. DDP gone, no way. Maybe some should come up with new letters for this.......I assume it stands for Double Developer Points......DblDP.

I knew people would open it up if I abbreviated!!! lol...I did have second thoughts.....I like your abbrev....however if they are gone by Fri..no one will probably refer to them as much? Except maybe for me and how I could not get them.....lol

Call the guide you are working with and buy them over the phone today.

Take the tour 9/1 and sign the papers then, but if you change your mind, you can still cancel without penality.

That will allow you to 'lock in' the DDvPs and cancel and take the next promotion (if it is better).

Here is the new acronym.

IP = Incentive Points

DIP = Double Incentive Points

Disney MS calls them IP's, so hopefully this will work!!

Talked to my guide.....she is awaiting a reply from a manager.....if they would allow it til the 1st....however...may start things rolling now...
