We have one week to be diligent until indulgence day (at least that's how I'm looking at it).

Only one luncheon to get thru till Christmas Eve....I believe I will survive!

I will be weighing in on Friday AM (same day as my hubby this week) and then will be taking it easy for the next week or so. I don't plan to go on an all out binge, but I do plan to enjoy a few indulgences during the weekend. I am making it a goal to try and maintain, but not to obsess about it. I cannot believe I have made it this far into the month of December and have not gained anything, or even really eaten off plan much! That has NEVER happened before. I guess I am finally learning! See ya all on Friday!
 
I weighed in this morning... I am down 2 more pounds! I have now lost 20 lbs with WISH and 30lbs total! I LOVE ATKINS! (I am weighing in at 219.5)

I'm down one pound from last Wed. for a total of 26 lbs. My goal is to maintain that thru 1/2/04.

My current weight is now 223.5....ONEderland by Spring looks very doable from here!

Well I am down 4 pounds since my last checkin bringing me to 256/232/199. 1 more pound to go before I claim my new clippie!!! That would be a nice Christmas present to me :) I don't plan on going overboard tonight or tomorrow, so it should be no problem. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!!!

My current weight is 235 and my goal for spring is 199
so my current stats are 240/240/199

(Highest weight was 292 last October and started Atkins at 277 in May of this year)

(insert a string of obscenities here............ edited to add 5 lbs I've gained in the past week :mad: )
 
I'm back after a holiday of eating anything and everything I wanted, and no exercise--boy do I feel yucky!! Anyway, scale this morning showed a gain, but I back on program, and looking forward to reaching onderland by spring. STATs: 215/221(going in the wrong direction)/199.
 
Happy New Year's Eve everybody.....boy, where did that week go?!?

I've maintained this week (tho yesterday the scale showed a one pound drop, it was back up this am, I guess that means I'm on the brink of losing it LOL).

I suspect we'll be hearing from a lot of missing WISHers in the next week and adding new members to our ranks.

My plan for the new year is to work on EXERCISE! And, once I hit ONEderland to start some serious training for the 1/2 marathon next January.

Onwards and Downward all!
 
Ugggh....I have a 1 lb. loss for the week, but that's not saying much. I've been horrible. All the holiday baking combined with the holiday stresses had me nibbling at many carb-laden things that I shouldn't be eating. I'm at 231 for my morning weigh-in.

Now, you're probably wondering why I'm grousing since I did lose a lb. - it's that as a gastric bypass patient I am annoyed with myself. There's a limited time window and I've just passed the 6 mo. mark. It'll slow down now and my eating like an idiot isn't helping things any. My NY resolution is to go back onto my low-carb, small portion plan on Jan. 2. Why Jan. 2? Cause tomorrow we're going to Chinatown to have Dim Sum at my favorite place, lol.

Happy New Years everyone! I am looking forward to a fantastic year and I wish everyone health and happiness.
 
Happy 2004. I didn't weigh in yesterday, because I was afraid of the news, but I did get brave and weigh in this morning... and I didn't gain any weight, I even lost the 4 lbs I was holding on to that I gained back. So, I am back at 219.5, and very very glad to be there! We all will be in Onederland soon, great job everyone!
 
I have a problem though. I need opinions on this, OK?

I have been a bad girl and now I see that it is unrealistic for a "spring challenge". BUT, I would like to try by my birthday, April 24th. I just think I would be too depressed if I had to push it back to summer. I know April will be pushing it too, but I think I could do it.

So.........do I drop out totally from the spring challenge or stay in with an exception??What do you think?

STAY!! April is still in the Spring! I think this thread should be for ANYONE who plans to hit ONEderland in the spring, not just by the start of spring.
Keep checking in, and PM me if you need extra encouragement.. I will do the same, K?:hug:
 
I know I'm new here, but I'd say stick with it - if it helps motivate you anyway - even if you don't make it - then you can hop on over to a summer one if necessary (I assume there will be a summer ONEderland showing up as well...)

I have a horrid "routine" of 6-8 week plateaus every time I lose 5 lbs or so - so I don't hold out much hope for spring, but I'm going to do my best.

you were just the encouragement I needed today. OK. You're right. Anytime in spring should count. But what a birthday present, uh?? AND it's my 40th Birthday!!!! It sure is incentive, isn't it??
