What are the Disney Visa card discounts?? We were looking at maybe getting a card but weren't sure???

As I understand it, that's not the way these work. From what I've been told, the pool of rooms available for any discount is generally the same, no matter what discount is being used. I believe AAA is the sole exception. Of course, that was then, and things could be different for this round of discounts. We'll just have to see.I'm certain blocks of rooms at various resorts are being held back for AP and Florida Resident room only rates which should be released within the next couple of days.
Is it your experience that the AP & Fla. resident discounts are more heavily discounted than the Disney Visa Card????
Do have all 3 and want to "hold out" for the AP's.
Some (free dining) are so good that even APers buy them, adn just throw away or resell the single-day tickets.
I did get a discount at the Poly. We were already booked when the discount was annouced and I have a confirmation that it was applied to my reservation. It was all through my TA and I actually had no parts in it. Can they maybe check again? Now I feel bad...Laura-
Did you get a discount at the Poly? My TA said the discount wasn't available there. Maybe I just misunderstood you.
Congrats anyway!
Question - if you don't have a Disney Visa yet, will they still let you book or change your package if almost already paid in full?
I have a package that is $150 from being paid in full, I don't have a Disney Visa, but I am willing to apply online for one IF my dates at POR are available for the discount.
I guess I'm asking what are the "rules" around booking and being a card holder.
