I've always liked the threads these official month threads. No one has started an official one yet, so I thought I would try one. We don't have a trip planned until October, so I have lots of time to dedicate to this one. I'll keep a Roll Call and maybe add some extra event info. Post your dates and resort if you want to be added.

Dining reservations opened this morning at 6am Eastern for our Oct trip dates - 20-25. I was able to get everything I wanted except one of he Disney Springs restaurants. The times haven't been loaded yet, which is not unusual for some restaurants.

Update: For this trip we are driving down from Mass. with our 27 year old son and stopping for steamtrain rides in PA, WV, and VA. Our original plan was to drop him off at the Charlotte airport and continue on to Santee, SC before heading to Florida. Last night I was reviewing the plan with DH, he said, "Instead of driving 2.5 hours from Charlotte to Santee, wouldn't you rather just drive 8.5 hours and get to Florida a day earlier?" Yes, please! So now we're arriving on 10/26!

October 26-Nov 2 for me. Made my dining reservations yesterday and got everything I wanted at the exact times I wanted, including two Eat to the Beat dining packages, a Spice Road Table fireworks package, Geo 82 and Beak and Barrel. So excited!

My sister and I will be heading down from Oct 18 - Oct 25. We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge, which is a first for us so we're really excited!

My daughter (23) and I will be there from Oct 28th-Nov 4th. Staying at the All Star Music. Going to MNSSHP on the 28th. Got our ADRs all done, and got into Beak and Barrel on the 3rd. She is pretty stoked for that!

Had a very easy time with our ADRs, including Geo 82 and Space 220 Lounge!

My sister-in-law just told me yesterday that she'd like to try Beak and Barrel. Unfortunately, I think it's too late for our trip. Our ADR window opened last Thursday.

I'll have to check out that app. I've never heard of it. I am also trying to get dinner at Summer House on Oct 21st. For some reason there is nothing available that evening, even on OpenTable. I ended up making a "just in case" reservation for Summer House on Oct 23rd, but I hate waiting that long for my favorite fish tacos.

I ended up making a "just in case" reservation for Summer House on Oct 23rd, but I hate waiting that long for my favorite fish tacos.

If you use the free version of the Stakeout App, you can only search for one restaurant at a time but I've been very successful with it. Odd about Summer House...I bet that will show up on Open Table eventually.

I downloaded the Stakeout App and set it to check for a Tuesday dinner. But I made a dinner reservation for Summerhouse on Thursday, Oct 23rd, just in case Tuesday turns out to be closed for a private party or something. Magic Kingdom closes at 6pm on that same night and it isn't a MNSSHP night.

I was surprised to find MK closed. That means that MK is open on only two nights of our five night trip.
