Today was our ADR day and the only reservation that I couldn't get on my preferred day and time was Beaches and Cream. There were a restaurants that had less desirable times, but otherwise, it went well.I didn't try for anything that was super hard to get, except for Beaches and Cream. Even though they remodeled that restaurant and added space from the arcade, it is still too small.

The three restaurants that had no availability for our dates were Ohana, Citrico's and California Grill.Today was our ADR day as well! I also couldn't get my preferred time for Beaches and Cream (wanted around 530, could only get before 4), and I couldn't get the day I wanted for Ohana, so I moved it to Halloween. I've heard Oga's Cantina can be hard to get, but they had plenty of availability when I booked today. I'm not an early bird, so I will be tired the rest of day.

I'd say keep the BOG. Although my experiences in there have been prior to the prix-fixe menu, it really is a stunning location. I loved having breakfast in the Beast's bedroom. It's a bit dark in there but his portrait and the rose were "worth the price of admission" for me. All three rooms are wonderful but that room is my favorite. It's definitely worth doing once IMO!I have a BOG reservation that I am undecided on keeping because it's so $$$ but I'm a huge Beauty and the Beast fan and have never eaten here. So, decisions!
Yes, this and the Cantina are my two must dos even though I'll be alone. I'm there for the Disney magic, and you won't find a more magical location to sit and enjoy.I'd say keep the BOG. No doubt keep it. We've experienced it both the "old" way and the "new" way. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd recommend getting there early and taking in the hallway/entry/library etc. Very detailed art and quite fun to see for a Beauty super fan. I know it's pricey, but it's easy to justify....you get an app, dinner, dessert, and drink .....plus a quick character viewing.I'd say keep the BOG. HA.....Good for you! And I forgot to mention a key part.....where else can you eat dinner in a "castle"!Okay, I am keeping our BOG reservation... you've all convinced me! I am super excited to see it firsthand! Now lets just hope I don't regret my two MK days being during extended evening hours or the same day as Boo Bash (I don't have Boo Bash tickets, unfortunately!) I will be living vicariously through those of you that do.
Added!40th trip since 1972 from Oregon!!! I am usually at WL or BR, CBR in olden times. Going to give POP my love from Oct 26th to Nov 3rd. And of course hoping for a Boma ADR!!
Added!Omg gang, booked an impulse long weekend trip today for the 50th when I saw that MK reservations were available. 3 nights at the Swan, 9/30 to 10/3! So unbelievably excited. My shortest trip so far has been 7 nights and this is my first time flying from MD instead of driving and my first time at a “non-official” resort. Can’t believe I’m going to be there!
I’m so sorry to read this! Such a bummer! Nice to hear you can still see each other for the 2 weeks.Heartbreaking news today. My gf had her clinic appointment and her doctors are strongly advising against travel to FL because of Delta. So we are having to cancel for the second time this year. I am so angry at people I could scream. But the silver lining is Canada being open means at least we will get to see each other, I will be spending the 2 weeks up there with her for Canadian Thanksgiving instead. We will have to do the 50th stuff next year.
Oh no- I am so sorry- but her health is most important- enjoy a wonderful trip in Canada and you have 18 months to go back!!Heartbreaking news today. Sorry to hear, but sounds like a sensible solution in terms of your gf's health. The silver lining of time spent together is what's most important, you're right. Maybe you can watch the ABC special "The Most Magical Story on Earth" on 10/1 somehow (does ABC air in Canada?) or on 10/2 when it streams on Hulu. Wear your ears, make some Disney cupcakes or buy some Mickey bars and have your own celebration and look forward to your next visit.Heartbreaking news today. I've removed your listing, if for any reason you decide to add a new trip this October please let me know and I'd be happy to edit it in there.Heartbreaking news today.
