It would be so Disney to do it 10/1…. But it is legit the worst idea ever! I’m hoping right after Labor Day or after 10/13 cause starting it on 10/1 could be a disaster not like Disney IT is all that great to begin with.

I really hope it’s soon so we have an idea of what to expect but yeah I would not put it past them to be that dumb lol

I would hope that Genie would be released in September so people have time to learn about it. There are some rides that we have avoided because we couldn't get a fastpass for it and we could be able to ride it with the Genie+ thing. Yeah, we feel the same. If it's during our trip, we will buy it and know there may be issues.

And Disney claims Genie+ will alleviate the planning hassles. That mouse may not really comprehend the virtual hoops we jump through to plan a WDW stay at its house, but it is so cute with its little pocket protector and glasses.

We will overlap! We are going 10/16-22 so I did my ADRs on Tuesday. Hardest to get was Via Napoli (dinner), Yak and Yeti (lunch), Teppan Edo (dinner). I got them all for now but at not do great times so still working on modifying. It was weird…no trouble with BoG dinner or Ogas at all…those had plenty of options on days I wanted.

I was!

Got Toledo for Saturday night - we made it at 5 pm because we are going to do DHS for a few hours in the morning/early afternoon, come back relax by pool, eat at Toledo, and then go back to DHS until close!

Got dinner at Topolino's on Monday and Tiffins for Tuesday.

It was a very easy process!

I think we make ADR's on Tuesday (check in date is October 23 (1 night in Poly villa, rest of trip at CCV). From my understanding, I will only be able to make an ADR for the Saturday, the 23rd, and then wait one more day to make the rest of our ADR's since the CCV is a separate reservation?

Awesome!! I absolutely loved our pool day at an Oasis cabana. I miss Samoa!
