Just booked our trip for Oct. 9 - 16. We will be celebrating our sons third birthday and our 7 year anniversary.
Is there something special going on at DHS this week because four of the days are already filled on the reservation site.

We are booked 10/28-11/1 at Pop. I just booked it this week. It'll be myself and my daughter (15). She’s always wanted to go at Halloween and since it’s on a weekend it works out perfect. I haven’t told her yet. I’ll surprise her sometime in august.

I am very much hoping for MNSSHP to happen. If so I’m all over buying tickets for Halloween night if it’s available.

In the recent past online prices would tend to show higher as we approach the weekend and drop back down Sunday or Monday.

I think the airlines are baffled by what to expect for demand. It's lower than what they want right now, and experts have said travel may not be back to normal for 2 years post-pandemic. BUT they also know WDW is a hot destination, people have been cooped up and the 50th is coming!

I am REALLY hoping they bring the Maleficent dragon out for this. It was so cool when they brought her out at night for VAH.

I am hopeful that fireworks are back, and it'll be something new for the 50th, and they will do them nightly and before the after hours...

On another note. I ordered this pin off Etsy. Sooo cute! I wanted something for the back of the little 50th hat I was gifted, but nothing "girly" since it's for my DS9. I have a few more things to add to it. But wanted to share the pin. Love it, just ordered one for each of us!

It might be clear from my DISboard name that I am a stagehand. Friday March 13, 2020 I was at a tech rehearsal for "Hamilton" (which was opening on Tuesday) when we were told to go home and the show wouldn't be opening. Perhaps two weeks, perhaps four.

Now it's May 2021. I've booked an October WDW trip (4 to 12) and yesterday (May 7) I'm told the show will open October 12. With rehearsals starting October 7.

I usually go to The World the Tuesday after Labor Day but decided to push it this year. In part because I will activate my AP and then go Sept. 2022.

this makes me sad for you trip, however so excited because I live in NJ and I usually go to see 3 or 4 shows a year and I have been really missing them... so knowing they are coming back soon makes my heart happy!!
