***OFFICIAL*** October 2011 - Updated 10/08/11

I don't blame you! Have you been to Le Cellier before? I decided to try it in Oct. Seems pricey...just wondering if it's worth it. I am a steak lover. ;)

You know, I was pricing out steak at Le Cellier, Yachtsman and one other place that I can't think of right now and they were all in the $39-41 range. Shula's was the only one that had a more expensive steak. :rolleyes1

I got all my ADR's except Ohana on our arrival day - I'm guessing that it's the last day for those leaving on a Sunday and they just went fast. I was able to get it for my second night there no problem, the times were wide open.

Congrates on getting the ADR for 'Ohana ! I have heard that Sundays is the busiest arrival and departure days at WDW so I am sure it affects availability of ADR's on Sundays.

I am planning on CP, San Angel and Le Cellier on the Sunday during my trip but hopefully since it is day 5 of the 180+10 I will be able to get the times I want. Oh how I wish ADR day would get here so I could stop worrying about making my ADRs

Since we're doing primarily signature restaurants (we're not on the DP), I'm hoping I'll be able to get what we want. Although DH does want to try Boma for dinner . . . Gonna have to start working on the plan!

We did Le Cellier last yr before they changed to a signature. I've also done it several times in the past. If you guys really like steak I would go to Yachtsman. Unless things have really changed since last October, Yachtsman was much better. With Le Cellier becoming a signature the prices are very similar. Just my opinion though.

I've always enjoyed Le Cellier. Yachtsman was way better in my opinion, but LC was a good deal on the dining plan as 1TS. Was it overhyped ... probably. But, I always got an average to decent steak, along with the pretzel bread and cheese soup, and you had a solid meal that I could count on year after year. This Oct we're going to do both LC and Yachtsman on the same trip. We not doing the DP, so I don't care about TS credits this time around. Even if LC isn't up to signature standards, I figure it's worth paying an extra $20 or so to finally get a personal take on the new dinner experience. And, I really want to try the new poutine fries!

Le Cellar is over rated. We hated it. The service was poor, the meal came out cold & the desserts were just ok. I would recommend Tonys, Les Chefs, or Tutto Italia for a better meal.

I'm really looking forward to trying Le Cellier. We wanted to do it last year, but never managed to get an ADR for it.

My ADRs were just done last week, and we managed to get everything we wanted, including Le Cellier for supper!

With the F&W festival going on, I don't think we'll be able to eat a full "real meal" It would really suck to fork out all the money for a meal we couldn't finish. Plus, we're totall steak snobs. DH likes well done and a ton of flavor, to me it's to the point it's over seasoned. I like med rare with salt, pepper, and a hint of garlic. The steak has to be rib eye, prime rib, or new york. I can already hear him complaining that he can make a better steak and Le Cellier is a waste of money.

Planning on going 10/20-10/30 staying at Shades of Greens (SOG), but only going to the parks 10/26-10/29. Hoping they will have MNSSHP on 10/25. This will only be our second visit. First time we went was 10/09.

We are going 10/6-10/11 and staying at Fort Wilderness in one of the cabins. Just made my ADR's today and got everything we wanted.

Now that the initial planning is done, I can just relax and enjoy the anticipation. Can't wait until October!:yay:

Yay, I made all my ADR's! I was worried because I didn't call right when they opened, I called at 8:30 my time and still managed to get everything. I was super worried that I wouldn't get anything though. I even got CG for arrival day dinner at 5:50. I wish they had something nearer 6:30 but am fine with what I got; that is our only plan for arrival day so it's not like eating forty minutes earlier is going to throw anything off by any means at all. So excited!

Congratulations on the ADRs..........did you know you can return later when it is time for the Fireworks and show them your reciept and they will allow you to go to the viewing area for the fireworks :goodvibes

I made my ADRs yesterday online and got everything I wanted....even Le Cellier!:thumbsup2

I am so afraid that I will forget to wake up on time on Sunday to make my reservations. We are in the last month of the semester so I am super stressed out and my sleep schedule is so messed up. I will need to set multiple alarms just to be sure.

I did know that but thank you. It's supposedly a MNSSHP night so I think the fireworks will be started around 9:00 pm and we'll definitely be done by then. I just wanted something later so we could spend a little more time settling in.

We're shooting for 10/9-10/16ish....

I haven't had a chance to read through the whole thread quite yet, but what is Columbus Day weekend like for crowds? We'll be staying at the Fort and figured that we could hang out in the campground if the holiday weekend is a really busy park time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!:)

One week until I can make my ADRs!!:cool1: We are on the DP!

We (DH, me, 3DDs) are driving and will arrive on Sun, Oct 23 around 2pm. After we check-in at FW, we plan on heading over to EPCOT for the evening.

Sun, Oct 23 Via Napoli 7:30ish
Mon, Oct 24 Boma 6:00-6:30 AK has an EMH so we plan on getting there early and leaving around 1 or 2 for an afternoon break.
Tues, Oct 25 Crystal Palace 11:30-12
Wed, Oct 26 We are going to HS that day, for just half a day and then taking the rest of the day to swim/enjoy the resort--no table service planned, but we may eat at Trail's End and pay OOP.
Thurs, Oct 27 Akershus 6-6:30
Fri, Oct 28 CRT 10ish We plan on hitting rope drop, getting in a few FL rides and then head to the castle for breakfast. Then get back to the rides till lunch. Then head back to the cabin to nap and get ready for MNSSHP!

So what do you think? Look like a good plan???:flower3:

We're going to be there (ASMu) at the same time. Everything I've read says that the crowds will be bigger than normal the holiday weekend (Oct. 7-9), but still not ridiculous. To be on the safe side, I'm staying away from the parks on Sunday (our arrival date) and away from MK and Epcot on Monday.
