I am sooooooooooo excited for our October trip!!!!!! :woohoo:
Only 58 days left to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staying 6 nights at the Poly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

The hardest part is not being able to really talk about it with people, I think my friends are so tired of hearing me go on and on about WDW. Thank goodness for the DIS :grouphug: because I can always come here and celebrate with you guys!!!!

Here are our 6 ts ADRs for free dining:

Teppen Edo dinner
Chefs de France dinner
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
Narcoosees dinner

Then we'll do cash for Crystal Palace breakfast

For our 6 counter services I'm thinking:

Flame Tree BBQ
Tortuga Tavern
Sunshine Seasons
Pizza Planet
Earl of Sandwich
Columbia Harbor House

Those might change a bit though... I've got a daily schedule but often it gets thrown out the window. ;) You guys know how that goes. :upsidedow

Happy Waiting everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

My trip is 40 days out. Has anyone gotten their yellow Magical Express tags yet? I thought they usually send them way ahead of the other packet with the luggage tags. :confused3 Come to think of it, we booked over a month ago and then revised our reservation the day free dining came out and we never received the paper invoice they usually send in addition to the email confirmations. Hope the mailman didn't put it in someone else's mailbox as he sometimes does. Don't want the neighbors knowing when we'll be away and where we are going.

I just got my packet of resort info a couple of days ago, no luggage tags or ME info yet though. I think they usually wait until around the 30 day mark to send that. :)

Just added one Character meal to the Plan, Crystal Palace for our first Disney lunch together! We arrive at MCO at 10:40, hopefully we can get to the Poly, then to MK in time for 1:10 at CP. Am I cutting that too close?

Ticker Check! 43 days to go!

Are you taking ME? That is the biggest time factor. Sometimes we get right on a bus with no waiting, other times we have to wait quite a bit. I wouldn't worry too much though, Crystal Palace is one of those places we've never had trouble being seated late. Many times for breakfast ADRs we've encountered bus issues that have caused us to be late. CP has never turned us away. :) I think it sounds like a fun start to the trip! :thumbsup2

Good morning all! 55 days here! :cool1: I'm so done with this summer. Irene really has tipped it over the edge. We didn't get any damage here outside of Philly, but the tornado warnings Saturday night were enough for me. :scared1: Could've been so much worse.

We're dealing with another kind of hurricane here - hurricane no-more-binky! :rotfl: DD turned 3 Saturday and the binky fairy came last night and it was a tough night for her. She had only been using it for sleep at this point, but she cried for an hour and a half on and off until she finally just passed out. Even the gifts the binky fairy brought only helped for a short period of time. I felt awful. :sad1: If given the chance to do it again, I would have taken them away at 1. I am working from home today and have kept her home to see how she does with nap. Don't know if that was a smart thing or not, but it's done, so we'll see. I feel like we all need some rest around here from the weekend.

Hope all is well with everyone! Have a great day!

There's been times when we don't even get to the hotel til 3. That's taking Disney transportation.

Just picked up one of these to give us a little more space for clothes and stuff since there are now only three drawers a room at POP :thumbsup2

I know how hard that is!!! I hope she adjusts quickly :goodvibes

We actually potty trained our oldest DS at WDW when he was 3. We told him we forgot to pack diapers and that Mickey would be really sad if he wet his pants at Disney World. He had this phobia about sitting on the potty, but for some reason sitting on Mickey's potty did the trick! LOL :rotfl:

I'm with you on this! I think the people going with me are about to kill me!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ahhhh!!.....Love the POLY!!!:lovestruc

Luckily my DH and 3 DS love to talk about our upcoming Disney trip every single day! But other that that, I supplement each day with the DIS!:goodvibes

For our 6 counter services I'm thinking:

Flame Tree BBQ
Tortuga Tavern
Sunshine Seasons
Pizza Planet
Earl of Sandwich
Columbia Harbor House

I had Tortuga Tavern on my list too - but I think I heard that it's only open seasonally - which is not too often - and probably not October?:confused3

We're dealing with another kind of hurricane here - hurricane no-more-binky! :rotfl: DD turned 3 Saturday and the binky fairy came last night and it was a tough night for her.

Good luck with breaking the Binky habit!
My twin boys are almost 10 now, but I can remember those binky days:p
But at least you can take away the binky. One of my close friends is currently trying to break her DDs thumb-sucking habit right now.:headache:

There's been times when we don't even get to the hotel til 3. That's taking Disney transportation.

Hi tinkmom2, looks like we're almost neigbors!
I'm just southwest of Milwaukee, in Waterford.

OMG more power to you!!! I don't think this would work for DD because she has a sort of "whatever" attitude about that kind of stuff. Plus she still doesn't "feel" having to go, you know? But she's always been the kind of child that once she gets it, she just gets it, so I'm not worried. I have a feeling she'll be potty trained before we're in Disney. Probably within the month of September, if I'd have to bet on it! :thumbsup2

Just had another lovely sleeping event. Nap time was rough. She's crying to the point of not even knowing why she's crying now, you know? I asked her what I could do to help and she said she doesn't know. She keeps saying a snack but we don't do snacks upstairs, so I finally asked if maybe another stuffed animal or toy especially for sleeping would help. I said we could go to the mall tonight and pick someone out and started mentioning what she could get. She picked Woody and Jesse. I don't know if it's going to help, but it's worth a try. If she picks it out especially for bed time, then maybe it'll work better than the binky fairy swooping in, taking the binky and leaving a present. :confused3 Otherwise we just ride out the crying fits until she gets over them. :sad2: These are the sad times of being a Mommy.

I get to join the Paid-In-Full Club!! Paid off our trip this morning! Only 46 days until we leave!! I also requested the 80's or 90's buildings at POP. DH and I grew up in that time, so I thought it would be fun to show DS2 things from our childhood!

So funny, we are potty training right now too. DS#2 will turn 3 on this Friday and just switched to pull ups this week, he has been dry at least half the day so far. Woo Hoo!!

Question for those of you doing something similar - I am nervous about training so close to Disney. I can't imagine standing in line for 30+ minutes only to have to get out of line to go potty. But I don't want to tell him no or keep him in pullups either. How do you plan to handle that?

Oh, I was thinking it was the other way around. That the ME tags come at 40days out and the other packet comes once you are in the 30 day window.

This is my first time with ME and I haven't taken a AAA booked Disney trip in 5 years so I'm on pins and needles waiting for the packet from AAA and ME. I thought I had to call about ME? Do I not need to do that? I feel like calling and harrassing the TA every day but I've resisited. I did call her and ask about our seats on the plane. When she booked them the flight showed a 3/2 seat pattern. Now it shows 3/3 and there are empty seats between two filled seats. She said she would take care of it and now the seats we had booked are empty but seats across the aisle filled up. Fighting calling her again. :rotfl:

Ahhh, just found the itinerary link on AirTran's website and now see that we take up four seats in a row. One of us will have to sit in the aisle across. We did that on the way down last time. So proud of myself for figuring it out without calling and bothering the TA. :rotfl: So seriously, will ME just come on it's own?

My DD had just turned three when we went to WDW the first time and was not potty trained. I made the conscious decision to not push the issue beforehand since I would rather change pull-ups than clean up messes that might happen in lines. The girl is strong willed and won't do anything until she's ready. So when summer came I told her she couldn't sign up for pre-school until she was potty trained. I swear to you, she never once peed in her pants after I made that statement. It was done. :sad2:

I'm so glad my kids didn't take pacifiers. I don't envy you. You sound like you're doing the best you can though. I'm sure it will be over soon and 20 years from now you won't notice any lasting damage. :goodvibes

We're at 45 today and also at POP! I still need to add our QSDP back onto our package, but I am waiting until I am 100% certain no room only discounts come out. The CM agreed that I should wait so the change fee will be waived since my package price would go up if I add a discount and dining at the same time. It feels good to get what I owed paid in full. Now I just have to sit and wait to see if anything happens discount-wise, but the main part of the trip money is all paid up.:thumbsup2

You know, Tortuga Tavern says seasonal, but it's been open every time I've been there and I've been there May, December and July, so when exactly do they close it??? :confused3 Hopefully not October because I love me some Mexican food, even if it is just tacos!!

We use AAA every time we book to Disney and it's just as if you use Disney to book. No difference whatsoever. You can send them your flight info too and they will coordinate everything. You don't have to contact ME at all. We're using AirTran and I sent my flight info to my TA and she sent that info to Disney, so when we get there our names will be with Disney ME, but even if they didn't have our flight info, Disney knows what day we're coming and around what time, so they are expecting us that day. It'll be in your travel package. You'll get a luggage tag from Disney that will send your bags straight from the plane to ME and then you'll walk down to ME and give them your ticket that AAA will give you in your travel packet and you'll be all set. It's the same info you'd get directly from Disney. AAA is one of their exclusive travel agencies, so they are awesome to deal with for Disney!! You'll be great - don't worry!!!

Thanks for the luck with the binky, everyone. We went to the Disney Store and used a little bribery last night. DD got to pick out some loveys to help her sleep. The deal was she could pick out what she wanted to comfort her but that meant she was a big girl and no more crying for binky. She agreed. She picked out Tigger and Piglet (she already has Pooh) and there was no crying! Lots and lots of giggles before bed and it was a late night, but no crying! If we have to do it this way for a while until she completely gets over the binky, I'll take it! :thumbsup2 She's in school today and has Tigger, Piglet and her lamby with her, so I'm hoping it goes as well, but I told them they could keep her up if she started melting down.

54 days. Is it making it go slower that I keep counting every day? I think once I get to the lower half of each "decade" the time goes slower. I have a friend there now who keeps posting updates on facebook and I hate him for it. Jerk. :rotfl: I'm so jealous.
