So instead of dressing up as the characters, we are ordering shirts I found online that say; Team Mario, Team Luigi and Team Yoshi. I'm glad I get to be team Yoshi :thumbsup2 (I didn't really want to be Princess Peach). We have various accessories to go with it. My DS also wants me to order Yoshi slippers...we'll see about that, not sure if I want to walk around MK all night in slippers. ;)

Cute shirts!

Ok...so those sweatybands sound like they may actually WORK - and I've NEVER found a headband that wouldnt slip off! Now I need at least 3!!! Thanks Parla! :goodvibes

Oh...and I cant stop listening to the SweatyBands Jukebox!:rolleyes1

I didn't even see the jukebox! :rotfl:

Now I am going to have to purchase the sweaty bands too. LOL. DD needs those for cheerleading practice. Anyone else have any neat gadget websites?

So excited. After saying I was going to buy Sweaty Bands I searched for a store in my area and there's a running store called Blue Mile at the mall. I was going there anyway to return some clothes to The Children's Place. Not only did I pick out five Sweaty Bands the Body Glide was sitting right next to them! Then they had this little running belt that I picked up for DD's insulin pump. It was perfect (green, her favorite and the dis color) plus it cost about what I was going to spend on a spibelt. Spent a lot but marked three things off my to do list.:goodvibes

First Time staying at CBR but we go to Florida/ Disney atleast 2x a year (just did the 7 day Western Disney Cruise inb FEB)

Never even saw the choice when booking- thought we just Got 5 day base tickets so i planned around that....Not that I found the choice/ option, I am rethinking. Dont think we may need it- but wondering if it may be nice to have the option?????

Help...

Heres our Plan:

We dont arrive until 1030am wed 26...We will get to hotel then head over to over 5pm Hoop de doo ressie, then Epcot for night( no hopper Needed)

27th which is thursday- plan on sleeping in a bit, hanging by hotel (never stayed there so would like to explore CBR) then head to MGM for 1/2 day and Fantasmic....Hopper not really needed unless i decide I NEED to go to MK in am lol then over to MGM?

28th.....again, we are going to relax in am...no rushing...then head over to MK by 2/3.00 for Ressies for dinner and MNSSHP. no park hopper needed.

Oct 29( my bday :bday:) depending on how late we stayed at party, how tired we are.....going to AK for a few hours, back to hotel, then to dinner at GF/ 1900 park fare. After that? go to another PARK????? Probably not enough time....Dinner isnt until 645pm....

Sunday oct 30- no clue, lol.......free day to do whatever...have chef mickeys ressies for 8pm.....

The hopper is roughly $50 per person. I think you will be fine without it. Have fun. Happy Birthday (mine is the 19th)!

I would just wait and buy the park hopper while at WDW, if I found that I needed/wanted it. We did PHs last time and will this time, too, since we like hopping for meals or for evening entertainment. :goodvibes

thanks guys....i spoke with Disney and we are able to add Park Hoppers there if needed, so I am going to Wait until we are there and see how our week goes..Hate to spend 50-75$ or more if we dont have too...Thanks All

That's what I'm doing. Made our plans without PH but know I can buy them if we get down there and something happens to our plans.

So I just spent about two hours looking through the Disney food porn threads :surfweb::eek: (there is no drooling smile, but that's what I was doing!).

After that grand fun, I felt pretty darn good about our ADRs except I decided to add Les Chefs De France. I have mainly just booked lunch ADRs thinking that it would be the best time for a break (all after 1pm) and then we can snack later if we get hungry, so I had no free Epcot lunch day to stick this new reservation...

Now I have Les Chefs de France and Le Cellier Steakhouse sitting on the same day an hour apart and I don't know which to cancel! I am leaning toward cancelling Le Cellier and just getting the Food and Wine portion of cheese soup.

It's kind of wrong that I have never even been to WDW yet and I am struggling to part with food I have only looked at before, never tasted. (dang that food porn)

Edit to say that I made my decision and the Le Cellier ADR is cancelled. If anyone needs it, 10/17 at 2:15 pm for a party of 4 is going up now!

DH and I will be at POFQ October 23-29 - it's DH's first time to WDW and we are both getting so excited!

For those who frequent the mouse, how is the weather typically at the end of October? Should we pack our swim suits and take advantage of being able to swim during the autumn?

Can't wait for DH to see all that WDW has to offer and see the look on his face the first time he sees Cinderella's castle :yay:

I had to cut a few ADRs when we changed resorts from BC to WL. It is now no longer as convient to run over to Epcot for lunch or dinner. I ended up keeping my Le Cellier for lunch and dropping the Les Chefs, we have never been to either but DH really wanted to eat at Le Cellier he thinks the atmosphere is more appealing. Both menus look good to me. There are just too many places to eat and not enough time :rotfl:

I am taking my DH to Disney for the first time as well, staying at POFQ 10/26 - 11/02 and share the same excitement! The weather should be wonderful - warm, dry barring any residual hurricanes. Definitely pack swimsuits!

Just added one Character meal to the Plan, Crystal Palace for our first Disney lunch together! We arrive at MCO at 10:40, hopefully we can get to the Poly, then to MK in time for 1:10 at CP. Am I cutting that too close?

Ticker Check! 43 days to go!

I dont think that is going to work.....you wont even get off the plane and get luggage until almost 11am.....wont get to hotel until 12...Nope TOO close....

My trip is 40 days out. Has anyone gotten their yellow Magical Express tags yet? I thought they usually send them way ahead of the other packet with the luggage tags. :confused3 Come to think of it, we booked over a month ago and then revised our reservation the day free dining came out and we never received the paper invoice they usually send in addition to the email confirmations. Hope the mailman didn't put it in someone else's mailbox as he sometimes does. Don't want the neighbors knowing when we'll be away and where we are going.
