I think it might be easier to just post what you DON'T think you will be ordering... at least for me it is! :lmao:

Yep - we do this all the time because we like to avoid the busses when at all possible:
Monorail to EPCOT
Walk through Future World
Walk to International Gateway
Grab boat to Beach Club/Boardwalk/Swan&Dolphin/DHS:thumbsup2[/QUOTE]

oh glad to hear it, the more i looked at the map the more confused and concerned I got about my planning.

If you had your choice between Teppon Edo, Coral Reef, Garden Grovev or Le Cellier what would you choose; pick two. I have spent most of the day droilling over all the food for the food and wine festival and thinking I might cancel one of our ADRS and just munch our way through Epcot. We are the DDP meaning e have a lot of snack credits to use at the festival.

Is your Le Cellier lunch or dinner? That would make a difference to me since dinner is a 2 credit affair now. I would cancel Le Cellier dinner for sure. The others I haven't ate at. In my opinion Le Cellier lunch is a good one to keep :goodvibes

It's definitely ALOT of walking - but if you can grab a ride or 2 on the way - it can be quite productive!:goodvibes

My vote is for LeCellier and Teppan Edo.

We have one whole day at EPCOT without any ADRs, and one half day - reserved specifically for F&WF!:thumbsup2

le Cellier is a lunch the menus looked so much a like that we decided on lunch.

Those are the two resturants that DH wants to keep, kids want the other two. But they aren't paying so DH will have final say:lmao:

We have gotten two conflicting answers to the question of can we use "snack credits" for the food and wine festival. DH called and the CM said yes. When I called the CM said no. So all of you experts can we use snack credits for the food and wine festival?

I know in past years snack credits could be used for some items and the menu at the booth was clearly marked. I am thinking we will have to wait until the F&W starts and people start reporting back. I sure hope it is that way again this year, it is one of the reason we decided upon the DxDP to give us more snack credits to use on our trip.

that is great news - the festival is also the reason we upgraded our food plan also

In the past they have allowed snack credits to be used for food items only. They can not be used for any alcohol.

I would keep Garden Grill and Teppon Edo. Le Cellier is the most over rated restaurant at Disney.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I was just about to ask if you could use snack credits for F&W. I have the DDP but was thinking of upgrading to the DXDP. We have a number of meals we will pay OOP for and by upgrading it would be a bit of a wash (cost of upgrade = to OOP costs). But we would get all those extra snack credits and those would be a bonus. If we could use them on F&W WOOOO HOOO. I have one evening planned in Epcot w/ a ressie at GG and one full day planned with a breakfast ressie at Akerhaus and dinner at LeCellier. I think if I can use the snack credits, I will cancel GG and plan to eat my way around epcot that first night :). DD can have CS and if DH is not satisfied with the bite sizes he too can grab a burger. SJS and Srauchbauer, I assume you feel the DXDP is worth it? I keep going back and forth between upgrading or canceling some ADR's to lower the OOP cost. DH told me, "just do it so I don't have to think about it later, trust me, I'll eat the extra credits if they are available" which he will, lol.

Another question and please don't yell at me, it's just a question and if it's not allowed I would NEVER do it..... can DD and I share CS meals? She is 3 and eats like a bird, I understand her credits would be from the kids menu but like could I order a kids chicken fingers for the two of us to share and save the other adult credit for him?

I am in the same boat with the "wine" part of food and wine. I can have a sip here and there, but I can't really "plan" on drinking anything. A lot will depend on how I feel that day.

That is the link to the list and the .pdf that Disney sent out.

79 days until my trip! So excited!

The wine is the only part I may be able to do, if it's actually wine. Having just been diagnosed with Celiac, I have to do some research as to what is gluten free. I know in the past there have been some options, but they are limited. :(

I would NOT choose Coral Reef. I have been there twice now and both times the food has been awful. I thought the first time might be a fluke but not so. I've seen other awful reviews about it as well, so I won't go back until the reviews get more consistenly better.

The answer here is sometimes. You can use snack credits for some food, but not alcohol.

DH and I share CS meals all the time. As long as you are paying for the dining plan for the three of you, it doesn't matter how you use them. Go for it!

I think the only way I would ever be able to do the deluxe plan again is during F&W, otherwise there are just too many credits!!

Absolutely you can share a CS meal. It's your meal credit, do what you want with it! Better than letting half the meal go in the trash!!
