I posted in happy dance at 104 days with a whole song parody... no one replied so im gonna post it here. DH helped me write it :)

There's 104 days till our Disney Vacation
And we can’t wait to begin it
So the annual problem for our family unit
Is getting our schedule to fit it

Like maybe...
Reading the Dis boards
Or checking out hotels
Planning to avoid Rush Hour
Discovering new rides that soon will exist (Hey! )
And praying there are no rain showers

Surfing the internet
Creating Dining Plans
Knowing we’ll be entertained

Kids making ride lists
Packing our suitcases
Or driving my Husband insane (Honey!)

As you can see
There's a whole lot of stuff to do
Before we vacation this fall (Come on October)

So stick with us 'cause Victoria and family
Are gonna do it all
So stick with us 'cause Victoria and family are
Gonna do it all!
(Dad! Mom and kids are making a song parody! )

Love it!

Add me to the list!

We will be at the Swan from October 8-15!

Tried to book October 15-22 and Swan and AKL and everything is BOOKED! :confused3

Does anyone know WHY? I thought that that week is usually pretty slow?

That's my conundrum as well. I love summer and it is much too brief here, yet, I am counting down to October....

I know what you mean! I keep trying to pack my summer with fun stuff for me and Jack so that I don't sit here constantly wishing for fall... but it doesn't always work! Especially when I am trying to save money for our trip, so I can't run around spending it like a mad woman on summer stuff! :lmao:

Sitting down to make our countdown calendar now!

Love the song- so cute! I remember the single riders one too (I think that means I spend way too much time on the boards!) :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Awesome!! :worship:

I absolutely love this!!! Great job! I'm always a fan of a good song parody. I wrote one a few years ago for Single Riders to "Single Ladies."

I would love to see that! Now I've got that stuck in my head too...

That is awesome, Victoria! :rotfl:I love it! :goodvibes

I sooo need something to focus on. I'm all booked and paid for (SSR 2brm villa w/points from a Dis'er, DDP, tickets from UT), ADR's are all booked, made a "mental" touring plan. Now I have nothing to do. :guilty::laughing: I feel so aimless. :rotfl2: Someone give me something to do, please! :surfweb::)

We're finally in double digits! We arrive at BWV three months from Saturday! :woohoo::rolleyes1popcorn:::surfweb:

It doesn't help when my DD cries every time it is time to go in for the night or leave the pool or leave her cousins' house or.... :headache: I know she's both tired and excited at those times, but geez, it's a long summer and we've got plenty of time, kid! Relax! I know being at the World will be easier because we won't be going home, we'll just be going to a different part of the World! Plus she'll be a little older and hopefully will grasp the concept of different day, same thing a little better. Her crying when we leave really tends to ruin the fun. (Did that sound awful????)

We are going the same time as you.

When we booked months ago our AAA TA said that she thought there was some kind of conference going on. It ended up costing us extra money because of it. We are staying at AKL and I wanted a Savannah view. We had to pay for an Arusha Savannah view because all of the regular Savannah views had booked up within the three days that I had been pricing them. Plus the discount that was out at the time was actually blacked out for a two week period that included our week. I'm still crossing my fingers that they add some kind of free dining. I wouldn't think people taking up rooms for conferences would really take advantage of the discount since a package is required.

Lol, it doesn't sound awful! I know what you mean, it's lighter out so much longer that all he wants to do is play and stay up, but I still have to work all day, so I need my sleep. Plus he is impossible to wake up in the morning. Thankfully I will be starting a new schedule soon where he will HAVE to wake up early, so at least he will be ready for WDW! :rotfl:

Oh my gosh! That is SOOOO awesome! You guys rock! I could sing the whole thing, because I'm a huge Phin & Ferb fan! :woohoo:

LOL!!! Katherine has been getting up at 6AM the past 5 days (5:30 on Monday because DH and I were too loud doing the P90!! Now we work out in the basement instead of the living room.). Normally we wake her up at 6:30, still groggy, to get up for day care. I don't know what this early wake up nonsense is, but I don't like it one bit!!! :headache:

And I hear you about it being light out. She used to go to bed between 7:30 and 8 but we don't even bother until 8 at the earliest anymore because it's no use. Plus we have some crazy parents on our block whose kids stay up late and she hears them outside, so that doesn't help. Another reason to wish summer away. Maybe just for this year????
