Thanks everyone for your kind words about our cat. It's so strange to not have him in our house!

I just realized today that our trip is 5 months away! I have a strange feeling summer is going to fly by.

Does anyone have any recommendations on going to see La Nouba at Downtown Disney? I was thinking of going with my husband on our anniversary but wasn't sure.

I just realized today that our trip is 5 months away! I have a strange feeling summer is going to fly by.

Does anyone have any recommendations on going to see La Nouba at Downtown Disney? I was thinking of going with my husband on our anniversary but wasn't sure.

I've seen a Cirque du Soleil show before and it was amazing!!! I've heard for La Nouba you want to sit in a Tier 2 or 3 seat (up higher) so then everything is eye level, because when you sit super close to the stage you have to constantly look up and it can cause a stiff neck.

Will be cancelling Le Cellier for 2 on Sunday 10/23 @ 7:00pm in a few minutes if anyone is interested. I was able to get a later one which works out better for us that night.

Oct 15-22 its ALL of our first times to Disney, our dd is 7 !

ADR's are

Arrival date is late so just Oct 15th Chef Mickeys at 625pm

Oct 16th, Hollywood Studio's day Hollywood and Vine breaky 915am thinking Pizza planet for late lunch not sure about dinner yet

Oct 17th, MK day breaky at resort maybe, lunch at Cosmic Rays, Crystal Palace for dinner at 450pm

Oct 18th, Epcot Day, Akershus for breaky 920am, no idea on lunch and dinner, maybe head back to resort to swim

Oct 19th, resort day nothing planned other than dinner at Ohana at 510pm

Oct 20th, the big day ! breaky at resort, BBB at 1pm, 1900 Park Fare for early dinner 430pm then heading over to MNSSHP already have tickets VERY excited about this day !

Oct 21st, AK day, picked a late breakfast because of the late night before, so Tusker House at 10am, lunch and dinner no idea

Oct 22nd return home day we have an early flight so will be doing nothing that day other than going to airport for home wha wha whaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hey all! Somehow I missed this thread! Thanks ociana for the information on it!

I'll be at Disney October 14-23 and staying at POFQ. This is a special trip for me as I am treating my mom this time for everything she has done for me the last few years. You see, I decided to go back and get my Masters in Business Administration. This would never have been possible without her guidance and support. So, I want to give back to her and she has been talking about heading back to Disney since our 2007 trip. I have a TON of fun stuff lined up and a few surprises in store for her. We are SOOOOO excited!

we are there the 14-22- so same time! how fun to treat your mom!!!! i'll check and see if any of our days or plans overlap!

I am so envious of you guys going into summer, we are fast approaching what is going to be a very unpleasant winter. I really dislike winter!! This year is going to be a hard one with all the power outages we are having (our temporary lines can't cope with the demand) and all the cracks in my house including right through the concrete foundations. I am keeping myself busy with mountains of work and planning for our first big trip to the USA.

I thought I might post our holiday so far on here as someone may have some tips and ideas for the places we are visiting, I am trying to research everything and don't want to miss a thing!!

LA - 1 night
New Orleans - 6 nights (3 on our own and joining a coach tour for remaining 3)
Balance of coach tour:
Natchez - 1 night
Memphis - 1 night
Nashville - 2 nights
Atlanta - 1 night
Savannah - 2 nights
Orlando - 1 night

Board Freedom of the Seas for a 7 night cruise with ports of call in Labadee, Falmouth, Georgetown, Cozumel

Disney World - 5 nights
Universal - 5 nights

Back home to reality!!!1

wow, what an amazing trip!!! i agree, add another day to disney. you will only need 2-3 for Universal. 1 for SeaWorld and with all the outlet malls, you can definitely spend a full day shopping. be sure and check out the disney outlets too- they have good deals.
