Hi a few questions,
1) When do MNSSHP tickets go on sale? can you get them online or will I have to call? Do you suggest buying them now or is it safe to buy closer to the date (planning for 10/25)? Usually about May 1st they go on sale. I hear you can buy them close to the date for MNSSHP, they don't seem to sell out like they do with the Christmas party, except for maybe Halloween?
2) Fantasmic!, what is the latest dinning reservation you can usually get for this? Planning to do Mama melrose and am hoping for 5:00. Think that is possible? good question- sorry can't answer this one.
3) forgive me if this one is really dumb..... how much time to get from front gate at MK to Monorail and how long on the monorail 1900 park? I'd like to make a 7:00 pm reservation for 1900 Park on a night that MK will close at 7 for MNSSHP. My plan is to spend the day in DHS and head over to MK around 4:30. I'm hoping to maybe have an hour or two in MK in anticipation of the crowds being lower for MNSSHP and head over to 1900 Park at the last minute to make our reservation. Will they allow me into the park at 4:30 without a MNSSHP ticket, what if for some reason we arrived later? Will we have a problem. Now, keep in mind, they let folks in for the party at 4pm, so it won't be any less crowded due to the party, there will still be a lot of the folks doing the party who arrive early (and don't buy a park ticket that day). From front gate of MK, the monorail is just right there, like a few minutes. You will want the resort monorail loop, not the Express. you will have to wait for a monorail and ride it all the way around the loop- stopping at CR, TTC and the Poly before it reaches GF. so think 2 minute to walk to the monorail after exiting MK, then wait say 5 minutes for one to come, then ride the loop almost entirely around, could be what- 10 minutes or more? I would just plan on 30 minutes to be completely safe. The monorail does have stops from time to time on the resort loop waiting for clearance and stuff, so better safe than sorry. What about making your GF 1900 park fare ressie for like 7;30? Leave MK right before 7? The other option is to take a boat from the MK dock to GF, more direct route that way and probably will take same amount of time?
