I forgot to put that we are doing Beaches and Cream on 10/26 since you don't make ADRs for that one. We are going to go there at 6:00.

I'm sure besides hopefully doing a DISmeet, sounds like the 3 of us (myself, tlenzendorf, and bookmomhp) may cross paths a few times at parks and AKL/AKV. Bookmomhp, if I remember correctly you are also staying CL? And tlenzendorf, so awesome you are staying in a 2 BR - do you know if you are in Jambo or Kidani?

Hi all! I just found out that we are heading to WDW in October - my in-laws broke the news tonight that they are taking the 4 of us (DH, me, and our two girls who will be 8 and 6) the week of Columbus Day. I am soooo excited as this was totally unexpected and the girls were literally stunned - we were lucky enough to visit WDW for their first time last April with my parents, and never dreamed we'd be going back just a year and a half later. It is a BIG deal and so exciting!

I'm a little nervous about getting started with the planning, though - my mom took care of all of it when we went last year - she chose the resort (BCV, which was awesome!) and did all the ADRs, booked everything, etc. My MIL will be booking the trip itself but much of the planning of day-to-day events will be on my end since I am the girls' mom and know best what they will want to see, where they'll want to eat, etc. She wasn't with us when we went last year and isn't "up" on the hot spots for the elementary school aged crowd!

So, I'm all nervous that I need to get the ADRs done, like, yesterday. Eek!! I don't even know where to start. We're staying at the Polynesian so I guess I should for sure do the luau there (and yes, I am so new to the planning that I don't even know what it's called!) and a meal at CRT (breakfast or lunch, either would be no problem!) since the girls loved that last time around, but beyond that... no clue where to begin.

HELP!!!!

You have lots to do.But I think half the fun is the planning. Definitely start doing your ADRs ASAP. If you want CRT you need to see if something is available since that is one of the hardest reservations to get.

That's my worry - that we won't be able to get a reservation there. Planning to call tomorrow and hoping for the best... fingers crossed!

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO, ADR's DONE!!! I can finally relax and not have that hanging over my head, will I get them? Will I get the times I want?? IT'S DONE AND......... I GOT EVERYTHING I WANTED AT THE TIMES I WANTED THEM!!! I am SUPER excited!! Logged in at 6, had a little trouble but it worked out quickly and now it is OVER. I am leaving for work in a few minutes and plan to do my ADR's on the phone during my commute for BBB and Fantasmic . YIPPY!!!

Even my Maltese Prince did not follow me.. and he is my shadow. Finally around 5:00 am just as I am already to start the ADRs he comes downstairs. Smart puppy.. I too would rather be in bed.

Here is my list.. the only one I wanted later was Le Cellier. I got it @ 1:30 p.m. but actually wanted 2:30 p.m. I am waiting until 7 am to try and get Fantasmic package. The day I had planned to do Fantasmic pkg. 10/23 Mama Melrose was not available. So, I will have to keep trying.

Catira, you couldn't get MM F! on 10/23? I too had to wait until 7:00 and was on hold for about 15/20 minutes but I eventually got through and was able to get it. Was it a specific time? I know they didn't have anything too late, try back.

Its nice to see everyone is having good luck getting their reservations. People think I am crazy when I get up at 345 am to make Disney dining reservations 180 days away. LOL But hey, its what we do right?

My wife and I are celebrating our first anniversary after getting married 11/10/10 at the Wedding Pavilion last year. After doing DxDP for that epic 15 night trip, we decided we love Disney World as much for the food as we do anything else so DxDP 2.0 commence:
