Can I book Fantasmic package for lunch? Cost wise, does it make a difference if we book lunch vs. dinner?

A question for anyone with a child signed up for the Disney Youth Programs: Can someone tell me how much these cost?

I'm assuming you are talking about the kids clubs? If so, we paid roughly $11-$12 per hour/child and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! My girls LOVE the clubs, esp. the Neverland Club @ the Poly and we LOVE the extra bit of piece and quiet during our signature meals and such. By mid stay we usually need a break from each other and it's a wonderful experience for the kids...our last visit my girls went 4 times per their request! They also give them dinner and allow them to choose what they would like to eat as well. They were GREAT and I highly recommend

I was able to book everything we wanted this morning, pretty much at the times we wanted, give or take 5 minutes.

Here's what we got:
Friday, 10/21 arrive at MCO at 10:00 a.m.
Dinner 1900 Park Fair at 4:30

Saturday
Lunch: Rainforest Cafe @ Animal Kingdom at 11
Dinner: Calfornia Grill at 7:45

Sunday:
Lunch: The Plaza @ 11
Dinner: Coral Reef @ 7

Monday:
Breakfast: Akerhaus @ 8
Dinner Rose & Crown at 7:45

Tuesday:
Dinner: Crystal Palace at 4:30
Going to do MNSSHP that night.

Wednesday:
Lunch: 50s Primetime Cafe 12:00
Dinner: Narcoossees 7:05 (our 9th wedding anniversary dinner)

Thursday:

Still need to call for the Wonderland Tea Party and BBB but at least all the ADRS are done!!

You will have a FANTASTIC time for your anniversary dinner @ Narcoossees! We LOVE it there and just celebrated our 10th anni in WDW. They gave us personalized menus to keep and sat us right by the window which means we had excellent viewing for the water pageant! Your ADRs look great

I was able to book the Fantasmic package for lunch, yes. We've always used the DDP so I'm not sure about cost, though there might be a difference in menu selection with lunch vs. dinner, depending on where you book for. GL!

I booked Fantasmic Package for Sun. 10/16. It was not available online so I had to call. The lady was very helpful & gave me time options for both HW&V and MM since I was willing to do either. She was great. Also...we are doing this on day 2 of our trip so when I booked it was only 181 days out.

Yay! After dealing with a grumpy DH who woke up to help me make online ADRs at 4:55, I got everything we wanted! I ended up having to call to make them. While the main page would show my resort reservation, the site could not find it to make ADRs So DH was a tad grumpy and said they are lucky he wasn't the one calling. I just went in the other room and made sure I was quiet since the trip is a surprise until we are in the car on the way

I forgot to put that we are doing Beaches and Cream on 10/26 since you don't make ADRs for that one. We are going to go there at 6:00.

Are you talking about the YES program? If so you get discounted park tickets and one class is free. You can do additional classes for $26/person/class. If you want to do the class you have to purchase at least a single days ticket. We saved over $500 for our family of 5 on tickets.

~ We will be celebrating DS's 4th birthday (October 10)! Our anniversary is Oct 14, but this trip is all about DS!
~ I have Pirates' League booked for his b-day and hoping to be able to book Pirate and Pals Firework cruise for October once the dates have been finalized. DS loves all things pirates and is Peter Pan's biggest fan!
~ We are visiting all 4 parks multiple days and are on the DDP.
~ Also, we are planning on attending MNSSHP. Just waiting on the dates to be released so we can purchase our tickets!

Hi Minnie Mom! My DS is turning 4 right after our trip, so this is his Bday trip too (he turns 4 on Oct 30th). We have booked Pirates League and the Pirates and Pals cruise for him- i can't wait! so funny how he and your DD have already been so much. i keep thinking how spoiled and lucky DS is to be going on his 3rd trip. people that don't 'get' disney look at me strangely when i say he is 3 and going on his 3rd trip!

I dont think I formally introduced myself and my family so here it is

Jenna 11 will turn 12 week after trip. LOVES Disney like her momma
Logan will be 9 in June sides with dad until we get there... then is all out Disney crazy

looks like a great plan- be sure and have DD check out the WDW college program, assuming she is going to college. it is an awesome program! have her check out if her school is part of the program or not. i highly recommend it for anyone (although i would say it is better to be at least a sophmore or higher to go- i think you get more out of it then).

Ok, I think keeping the last day free is probably our best bet. I agree that I don't want to be rushing around that day and it's the only day I have scheduled for DTD, although we may decide to go before out of the blue. My DH hates DTD but he's not a shopper. I go just for WOD and Earl of Sandwich! Besides, we can do CP and Tony's on day 2 if we want since we're planning on being in MK the entire day aside from a break for nap. I don't know. We'll see! Thanks for the input!!

i agree, keep it free. i love DTD too! whenever i travel to Orlando on business, i always just stop by and eat at EOS and shop by myself. it's heavenly! I like to stop at DTD early in our trip and then towards the end too. WE are EoS nuts! love it!

I was driving DH crazy today while we were out at lunch, asking him if what he thought about doing MK on our arrival day instead of DTD, telling him about the Wishes Dessert Party which he liked the idea of , asking if he wanted to change our flight home to a later one since it went way down in price, etc etc finally he said to me when you get it all done just give me the itenery so I know what we are doing

lol- if you bug them enough, they eventually just give in and say book it- whatever! that's the tactic that worked for me on booking our airfare finally.

Were you able to book the Pirates and Pals cruise for 10/21? i tried last weekend on the phone and she told me it wasn't available that night???? maybe i just had a bad CM or something? or maybe there just wasn't room for a party of 3, maybe only a party of 2? strange. i had to change my whole schedule around because she said it wasn't available that night. let me know if you got it that night or not- i might try calling back if you did. i thought it was odd when she said it wasn't available. i booked it for that Monday prior instead and moved stuff around.

The CM told me the schedule just wasn't out yet for P&P's. She said they usually don't come out for the 180 days and to try calling back once MNSSHP tickets go on sale the P&P's tickets will go on sale. Because with MNSSHP fire works not on the official schedule yet they hadn't made the P&P schedule yet. I specifically asked if P&P's wasn't that night would she be able to tell and she said yes it would be blacked out and it wasn't. So we'll see. lol

We are going in Oct, too! Not for sure on dates yet. We are still trying to decide on a resort, but we are hoping for the Poly! Speaking of that, this may be a good place to ask... does anyone know any great discounts for October? I looked on the site but didn't see any. We are also FL residents but I didn't see any discounts for that far out. Maybe you guys have some tricks.

Anyway, hope to meet some of you!
