:cool1: Two more days and I can make my ADRs.:cool1:

One week for me, I can not wait, it will be so good to have them all booked(hope on the 1st try). Tried testing again today and the two hardest for me it looks like are going to be Via Napoli for lunch on arrival day and Biergarten for dinner on our second day which totally surprised me. Fingers crossed I do not have to start shifting places around again Something just occured to me and I went back to the online dining reservations and it seems no matter what day I enter for Via Napoli it only gives me on lunch time as available 12:45pm............I have to wonder if it is a glich in the system??? May have to call for that one.

Anyone been able to get a time other than 12:45pm for lunch at Via Napoli? I tried putting in actual times ie: 1:00pm, 1:30pm and by just asking for "lunch" times with the same results, I tired just pulling up Via Napoli and also all Epcot Restaurants for a specific time, also with the same result of only 12:45pm Ugh .....maybe it will be fixed by next Friday

:thumbsup2

I can make mine 2 weeks from today!

To refresh my memory ----- to be able to book the 180+10 what exactly do I need to do online? I did this a year ago but I can't remember what I did! ETA: What time can I make online ADRs? Is it 5am or 6am?

I was playing around with the online dining system today and when I enter an October date I see a yellow highlighted item that states:
"We noticed that you requested a day more than 180 days in advance. Only resort guests have the benefit of reserving dining reservations that far in advance. If you have a resort reservation, please confirm it now."

Once I enter the confirmation # will I be good to go?

Also, we are on the dining plan, however, if I can get an early ADR for CRT I am going to pay OOP for that - I assume I do not want to check "I want to use my dining plan to book reservation" because it won't let me enter a CC if I do. Correct?

TIA!

It's me again ---

Not about dining but airfare ----

When I bought our airfare it was $124/person each way....I checked AirTran a few days ago and the flight down changed to $84/person and the flight home changed to $94/person .... called AirTran and got a $280 credit!

I go look at my flights today and they are back up ---to $119/person! Glad I noticed the change and called when I did! It pays to be an obsessive Disney planner, huh? :)

ADRs made for Oct. 2-7th trip to BWV and F & W festival!

Afternoon Tea at Garden View Cafe at GF

Boma for Breakfast

Le Cellier for dinner

Bluezoo for dinner(first time to try this!)

Now I've just got....to.....wait.....popcorn::....:surfweb:.....:rolleyes1....:headache:

Ok, so I got a response from my agent on why the ressies aren't showing up on Disney. Long and short - she doesn't know. I got the reply late last night so I sent one back saying several people have told me their reservations are on the site. I'm hoping that gets her looking into it more. Like I said, I'll call to make my ADRs, I have no problem doing that. I would just love to have it all there in one spot. And to have Donald counting down for me!!! ;)

jfugina - great plans! That's a lot of stuff packed into that trip. I take it your kids are older? My DD is an only child and still young, but I can't wait for the point where she'll be happy to go to the kids club to get away from mom and dad!!

I am booked under two separate reservations. The first is just room only and the second is my package a booked under a pin. My 180 day is on the 23 for my first package adn on the 26th for the second package. We are there a total of 10 days. Can I book all my adr's on the 23 or do I have to do them separately? :confused3 This is my first time on 2 reservations.

NICE!!!:banana: Did you have to pay a change fee to do this? I know with Southwest you can change for free, but I thought AirTran charged for it. I'm on AirTran this flight and while prices keep going UP from what we bought, if they ever go down below what we paid I'd love to get the lower price!!

Thanks Parla and lmc318- i think i will just book that earlier flight today! If for some reason we miss the connection, at least i know there is another flight just an hour and a half later that hopefully we could get on. Both are on AirTran, so you would assume they would work to get us out on another flight if they are late. we will cross our fingers!
Adding myself to the October thread.:cool1: We will be at AKV - Kidani from 10/9 through 10/15. We always drive, and stay in Orlando the night before so we can maximize our "on property" time.
your plans look great- especially the time alone while the kids do the kids club! :thumbsup2 we are doing a waterpark this time too. so what ADRs did you have problems trying to get?

interesting on Via Napoli, you wouldn't think it would be that difficult to get at lunch? We had dinner there and loved it. planning dinner there again!

online ressies open at 6am EST/5am CST. I'll be up at 4:45am CST to get logged in and ready. first log in- i have an account set up on their site already which makes it a little easier. when you are booking at 180 days or less out, i don't think it asks for your reservation # until the end. but either way, yes, just make the ressies, have your reservation # handy and ready. on the CRT, not sure, i haven't ever booked it online before, but will be on Sunday- i can try and let you know how it goes.

wow, good to know. I didn't know AirTran did refunds/credits like that. i was worried about booking with them, but this makes me feel better! with AA, (who we usually use), they never do that.

That is AWSOME! I didn't know you could get a credit from AirTran? Is it a credit back to your credit card, or for a future flight? Did you have to "negotiate" or is it a "standard operating procedure" for them?

I sure hope so!!!! We had to book with one-stop this time and our layover is less than an hour.
I'm trying to have a positive attitude though.....
We've never had any problems with AirTran before and in fact our last couple of flights have pulled away EARLY, with no delays.
Our connection is through ATL and there are tons of flights from ATL to MCO throughout the day.
We are a family of seasoned travelers and our kids are old enough to handle themselves.
We'll be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!:goodvibes

Am I right here?........In order to link your Dining Reservations to your Resort Reservation and/or to book at 180+10, I think you have to click the link that says "I want to use my dining plan to book reservations". That's not very intuitive though - since I don't actually have a dining plan.
Should you do that FIRST THING - before pulling up your first restaurant?

How were your choices limited? Were there restaurants that you weren't able to get?

Parla: I was fortunate that there wasn't anything I couldn't get at all, but I was just surprised at how few options I had after I'd chosen the time and date I wanted. For example, I requested SciFi (at DHS) for Monday night at 7. I don't need 7pm exactly - it was just a starting place. But what showed up was 6:35, and that was IT. That was my only choice in a window from 5-9pm. I took it, but I still found it surprising that it was the only choice.

Another was Whispering Canyon on Tuesday. I had requested 7am, but the only time offered to me between 6am and 10am was 7:30. Again, it's totally fine, but it made me wonder if I'd had any luck at all a week from now. The other one that I didn't really get the time I wanted was the Mexico restaurant. I was looking for a late lunch, and the latest I could get was 1:30ish. The next slot it offered me was 6pm. I've never had issues getting ADRs anywhere else in the mid-afternoon, so it struck me as odd.

So no worries - we've got most of our commando trips behind us, and are just trying to make sure we've got a few ADRs to look forward to. I'm just glad I didn't wait too much longer.

Is It too late to hop on this DISney Locomotive?
After having the trip of our lives last year, (We got married at the Wedding Pavilion 11-10-10 and stayed Nov.6-21) we are using the Annual passes Disney so graciously gave us for booking a wedding :rotfl: to stay OCT.20th to OCT.27th at POR. It will be my wife and I. Her sister/husband and 2 kids. Her mother, 2 uncles her cousin and her 2 kids. Soooo we have a huge crew going again. The wife and I cant wait to do the DxDP again. I love my disney food. Now we just need to hope for a good AP rate and MUCH better airfare from Denver...

Hi Lisa ~

After I called AirTran and got the price adjustment they sent me a confirmation e-mail and I noticed a $60 Direct Booking fee. I had seen from other DIS'ers that AirTran will try to charge a $15 change fee but they shouldn't and to call back if they do. I didn't realize it was $15/person! I called AirTran back about the Direct Booking fee and they credited the $60.

ETA: LJD2143 - Just saw your question ---- AirTran doesn't issue refunds, just credits. The credit can be used for seat assignment fees, baggage fees (we'll use part of our credit for this) and future air travel. You just have to use the credit within a year of the original ticket purchase. You don't have to travel within a year, just book a flight. We bought our tickets 3-21-11 so I have until 3-21-12 to use all of my credit. Maybe an October 2012 Disney trip. :-)

Debbie

Booking opens for me tomorrow morning!:cool1:

Quick question, can I reserve the WISHES cruise tomorrow morning as well, or would I need to wait until the office opens? Is it even 180 days out, or would I need to wait until it's closer?

Congratulations on getting all the ADRs you wanted, your plans look great.!!!

I woke up to find Touring Plans revised crowd levels for the days we will be there and they mostly went down  I hope they stay that way should be wonderful, TP is showing the overall park levels for our dates all 1's , one 2 day and one 5.5 day :yay:
I am so happy I could dance :dance3: just have to go over my plans again now real fast to see if I want to make any changes before I call for our ADRs next Friday

Kaymouse, congrats. I'm hoping to have as much luck in another week. I'm so excited!!

SJS, not on touring plans, I'm assuming 1's and 2's are good? That is great news!! I guess maybe since no discounts have been offered for this time period it's still fairly quiet. Maybe it will convince disney to put something out there and if not, we get no lines and easy ADR's, lol :)
