We are spending 2 weeks in Disney for our honeymoon in October, and we are soooo excited!! This is our first time using our new DVC points, and to top it off we are spending the first week in a Bay Lake view room at BLT We will be in The World October 12-25: first 7 nights at BLT and next 6 at BWV. We are planning on MNSSHP on the 18th, and we have lots of other plans and ADR's on the books- including Cat 1 seating at Hoop Dee Doo!

Care to share info on your awesome deal? We're going to US/IOA a couple of days during our trip this time and I haven't bought tickets yet.

Ok, question for anyone going near Halloween... we were planning on going to MK on Friday, October 30th. This would be our one and only MK day while we're there, and it fits best into our touring schedule. However, I just read that the Orlando public schools have an inservice day on the 30th, so kids will be out. Would you avoid MK on a day when local kids are off school? Should I try to rearrange our days?

I would perhaps re-schedule, but then Friday is meant to be a pretty good day for MK so if it compltely throws out your plans then don't get too worried.

As long as you get there good and early and use fastpass I'm sure you'll have a great day.

Ashley - congrats on your upcoming marriage and your DVC purchase. Looks like once again I will not be at WDW the same week in October you are....

I think that I am FINALLY done tweaking my ADR's .

Looks like we will have 3 table service that will be out of pocket, which is OK. I'm just not sure which ones? Here they are...what do ya' think as far as OOP?

Wheeee! Finally getting the "majority" of planning done for our upcoming WDW vacay.... Sept 29-Oct 10th. Kids are starting to check the calendar and keep asking for updates, I'm getting anxious & hubby is debating working out so he'll feel better at Blizzard Beach! Yep, it's a disease but I can think of worse diseases!!

We arrive October 2 and I can't wait!

We are part of a fridge swap, a photopass swap and an Illuminations cruise share!!

Booked our park-n-fly hotel for the night before we fly out.

ADR's are all set...I've gone 5 days without changing anything!

Is it October yet??

I am so flippin' excited!!!

I kid you not, I am sitting here in my office and the smell of Flame Tree BBQ enters my nose. I am completely insane. Not a BBQ place around - so it is entirely in my head. Boy am I screwed up or what?

My DH, DD(4) and I are going in October as well. Oct. 25-Nov. 2, staying at POFQ .. we've never stayed on site and are SO excited about it.

I saw someone post that they have their ADRs all set fo rthe entire week - I wish my husband would let go and let me book more than 3 places!! I'd love to have everything planned out like that, but he's more the type that likes being a bit more spontaneous. He knows you can only be so much so at Disney (which is why he was on board with the three that I DID book) but I'd love to know we're all set for restaurants we want to go to.

Hiya,

We are staying first at the Riverside....I just love the landscaping from Sept 29th. My aunt is flying in and joining us on Oct 5th day so we're moving into the Beach Club & there till the 10th.

I've made a bunch of ressies, and as of last night think they are about as good as it is gonna get. Couldn't get into a few but very happy with what we got! Also booked the Pirate League for DS8 and the Bayou Pirate Cruise for DS & DD7. We're gonna be broke but I actually don't care, well maybe a little. But we don't travel out that way but every 3 years or so. Our next trip...the kids won't be "little" anymore

Anyway can NOT wait. The days are passing much too slow

We are arriving late on the 6th and staying until the 13th (it started as a long weekend ha ha!!!) at All Stars Suite and we are getting soooo excited!!!We got all the ADRs we wanted- Chef Mickey's, Ohana. Hoop Dee Doo, Narcossees, Tempan Edo, Sci Fi- etc etc. We are going to MNSSH party on the 8th and before it my sons will be going to the pirate league to get made up as pirates which they have no idea about but will be so excited!!- I cannot wait!- less then two months! Yahoo!

Taking a mother/daughter trip October 15-19 for my pre-schooler's fall break. Who knew 3 year olds had fall break? Anyway are staying at the Polynesian 2 moms and 2 daughters (ages 3 and 4). We're doing CRT, Le Cellier, Chef Mickey, Ohana and Whispering Canyon.

Is it crazy that I'm more excited about this trip than our adults only trip to Jamaica in November? There is just something magical about a Disney vacation with a little one.

I just found this thread. I am taking DD (12) on a surprise trip the 7th-12th. We will be at POP. I have somehow managed to keep all of this a secret from her! No idea how, since I seem to be living on the DISboards all the time now. I have everyone in the house trained to knock on my door before coming into my studio. That gives me time to close the window and open another one.

We will be going to MNSSHP on the 8th. This is a second Mom & Me trip. I took her last year also, while my DH and DS went on their special trip.

I've got my ADRs set. I haven't figured out what to do about a coffee pot. I think I don't need a fridge this time. I did a swap last year, but didn't really need it. I used the coffee pot more.

I think I am in a photo swap, but need to follow up on that I guess.

It's nice to see others are just as excited as I am!
