OFFICIAL October 2009 thread - LET US KNOW YOUR PTR LINK!

Hey Everyone! My name is Danielle. I just booked our family trip yesterday for Oct. 15-19th!! I am so excited. It will be my husband, my daughter(3), and myself! This is our 2nd trip to Disney. We went for the 1st time as a family last Sept. I am 14 weeks pregnant and will be about 26 weeks when we go. I know I'm probably crazy but I really wanted to our daughter to have another Disney trip before the baby came because it will probably be at least 2 years until we can go again. We are staying at Pop Century. We stayed there last year as well. I was hoping to stay at a moderate this time but it's just not in the budget. We like Pop so it's not really a biggie. I'm going to start a pre-trip report. Once it's posted, I'll post the link :)

keep in mind they may not have opened them up yet for your time frame. several of us going the first week of october had to try how many days in a row ladies??? my ta did all my adr's and was told F! package was full....i came on here three or four days later and found out they hadn't loaded them into the system, so my ta kept checking and was still todl they were full. once they finally opened them up, i think squirel sent a pm to everyone saying they were open(course i was out that day!!! :sad2:) but i called my ta and sure enough she got it for us.

I was able to get the F package for Hollywood & Vine for Oct. 26. I would like to have Mama Melrose, but the CM said that was the first one to go. I was just glad I was able to get something. But I will keep on calling.

They changed mine too! Our original flight was leaving out at 530 pm and they changed to leave out at 745 I was miffed. :scared1:I called the airline and they changed our flights for free, but now we have to catch the plane at 700 am! The good news we get to Disney earlier, the bad we are going to be so grumpy!!
Good luck to you!!
You can sleep when you get home!!;)
The airline will change my flight for free, but we've been thinking that we may try it:eek: I've talked to my boss who flies through IAH often to FL, and he said he's done it. He said, no potty breaks, very little carry on, send someone ahead, hustle your behind!!! My DD says "we can do it!" (I think she's related to Dora:goodvibes) My DH is reluctant.
I am printing out terminal maps, checking on time stats, and the hisorical gates that these flights usualy fly in and out of. So we will be as prepared as possible! Let's hope it's enough...
They cahged mine too!! Without telling me!!!!! :scared1: It was SUCH a good thing I just decided to check one day when I was bored!!

They cahgned my conntecting flight sin DTW so my second flight took off 10 minutes before my first one landed!!!!

Changed now luckily!!
They must think your really something, if your going to change flights MID-AIR!!!
:rotfl:
I just now got notified too by Airtran about our flight changes. Fortunately for me, it means I get to stay at WDW for an extra 2 hours!
Yes! good news!!

:cloud9:I had the most wonderful dream last night. It was about our checking in at POR. I walked up with the family and everything was there at the counter ready for us. They said we were in building 15. I was a little irritated because I wanted 14 or 18, but when we walked up, building 15 was right there next to everything. And I mean everyting. The room was huge. Big enough that grandma could turn her wheel chair all the way around in the middle of the floor.
When you went out the door, the main swimming pool was right there across the bridge. There were fireworks going off in the background of the pool. In the daytime? Oh well, just a dream. If I looked to the right the busses were all lined up at the shelter buildings, kind of like they do at MK.
Then all of a sudden we were in the main pool swimming, and everyone was laughing and splashing and looking at me like they were having the time of their life. I was so relieved and happy:cloud9:

Then I woke up. I hate that part.

I hope so too! The reason we changed our flights after they started it! (changed our first) my DH works third shift and he was going to work and then drive up to the airport and go from there. He didn't mind getting to MCO a little before 8ish. But when they changed our flight and we would get there until almost 10 I told DH that he would be so tired and I wanted everyone to have a nice relaxing trip. He stresses over getting there and getting home. I think we made the right decision..now let's hope I can get everyone up and at the airport at 4 amish!

Love those dreams, when you are in your happy place but things just don't make sense!

We are getting closer!!

We'll be there the 22nd - 25th and attending MNSSHP on the 22nd.

My best friend is getting married on the 24th in Orlando and instead of having a traditional reception, they're buying everyone Party for the Senses tickets for the evening. It really can't get here fast enough for me. :)

Forgot to add that we're staying at POFQ.

Hi, we are going Oct 17-24. We'll be driving in from Louisiana and staying at Windsor Hills. I have been to Disney several times, but this will be our first family trip. My girls are 4 and 2. I would love to attend the MNSSHP, but I am unsure how my (shy and sensitive) youngest will handle the trip altogether! :lmao:

:dance3:POFQ October 8-12
MNSSHP on Oct. 8

This was an unexpected trip my sister talked us into and my DH said YES!!! Going to try to keep it a secret from DD (8) until we leave for the airport...we'll see if that actually happens ;)

Oh my gosh, I forgot to add Food and Wine Festival at Epcot was a total bonus for us for this trip and a major selling point with DH for booking the vacation in the first place:dance3:

I have stayed away from the boards recently because for awhile there it looked like we weren't going to go. You know, schedule conflicts and the like and it made me sad to think a lot about Disney when my trip was up in the air. BUT my sweet, wonderful, loving husband made some plans to make sure we could go for at least a day or two. He knew how much I love Disney and we both really want to take our daughter there for her 1st birthday (did I mention he's great?). Technically it will be about a month after her birthday, but whatever! We are still staying at Pop, but will be there Oct. 21st and/or 22nd instead of the 12-15. 2 months and 22 days left!! :hyper:

Yet another going to Disneyworld airport/airplane dream. The airplanes in these dreams never fly the way they are supposed to. This one was driving down the highway.:confused3 Also forgot my passport. Guess I need a passport to go to Florida now. Forgot someone's luggage again in this one. Always happens.

I'm not stressing out or anything.:upsidedow

And I thought I was the queen of weird dreams...:lmao: I'm wasteting my time dreaming about work!
Waiting for your next dream..popcorn:: We may need a special thread for your night time adventures!
