Official October 2009 Group Trip Report

Just got back from 5 days in the parks(sept.25-30th) and had blast. Loved all of the halloween decorations and attractions, ghost galaxy blew me away, saw halloween screams fireworks twice which far exceeded my expections, they played a "Grim ginning ghosts" remix during the show that I am determined to find for my ipod haha.

Other then then that did the normal tour of the parks,saw fantasmic with GREAT seats. We somehow got dead center front row for the second the showing, it was cramped but well worth it.

Anyways it was a great trip, more detailed report and a ton of pics and food porn in mine and disneynerd420s actual report

We definately had a great time, this was my first time seeing dl around halloween, and halloween happens to one of the things thats excits me as much as disneyland so combining the two was quite the experience

disneynerd420.. post a few pics here!! we are trying to build a group trip report and you always have great insight!

we are driving out there.. and flying back. it's a 13 hour drive for us. I like road trips, so i don't mind. And we actually had already booked round trip tickets but then my mom's party bags grew and grew and grew so we are driving. I was worried if i shipped the boxes one might get lost and some of the guests wouldn't have their surprises..so we are driving! It's not so easy having a party for 30 several states away

I am really looking forward to this trip! I can't wait I can't wait. My mom is like a little girl at disneyland

Finally got myself over to this thread! I'm so excited. We leave 2 weeks from yesterday, and I'm at the point where I have a lot to do, but it's too early to do it.

I'm still deciding if I want to do a separate TR or if I just want to post a few pics and thought here. We'll see.

DH is working on our shirts right now for the reunion and they are so cute. And he is way proud of himself. Who knew he was so handy with an iron? Our camera has disappeared, but when DH brings home his from work, I will definitely put up a pic. The previously posted Tie-Dye ones are so cute!

Can't wait to see everyone else's contributions to this thread!

Hey everyone!!! We're home..... but we had a great time. I have TONS AND TONS of pics, so I will try to sort through them and get something up today. I see in the Oct thread that you were suppose to go to MTOTP on the 9th, but is that correct? I thought I saw a small group with your wonderful shirts on from a distance, when we were there on the 8th.... could it have been you?

Loving the pictures! I'm so excited we leave this Friday the 23rd I can't wait to see the decorations for myself we went November 5-11 last year for DD to tap at Disneyland and DCA and saw just a few things still up. This year DD will be ToT there! how cool is that! And by the way, VERY cool shirts.....you really should sell them.

Hey all! So sorry I have been WAY ABSENT from the boards for a few weeks. Since we have been home things have been CRAZY! My niece got the swine flu just a few days after coming home, then my nephew got sick, I worked 11 straight days, found out the read differential went out on my car that we drove down there and have been running around my house like a mad woman trying to get the yard set up for Halloween! Man I have been living on caffeine lately!

I promise that I will get back on soon and give you some details and pics of our trip. I haven't even gotten all of my pics uploaded yet! YIKES!

Wow, what a whirlwind. Sorry to hear your niece and nephew got sick and hope they are better now. But better that they were sick after the trip than during

Big bummer about the car - hope it doesn't cost too much to fix. And I hope your work life has settled down some so you can at least have your weekends back
