Forgot about festival of the holidays starts Nov 28 (say after Thanksgiving)

I’m going stir crazy trying to think what parties we can attend. Hours need to be released way ahead of party tickets. Most likely MVMCp tickets will be released in June and we need info on EE hours as well.

2024
JN Nov 23, 25, 30 (Thanksgiving Nov 28)
MVMCP Nov 21,22, 24, 26, 27, 29

So if things stay the same

2025
JN Nov 22, 24 and 29
MVMVP Nov 20, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30

we have 11/24 or 11/27 (Thanksgiving) as our full MK options.

I'm going absolutely stir crazy trying to plan around the holiday parties too! On my planning spreadsheet (this is who I am as a person lol) I have my best guess based on last year's Jollywood Nights and MVMCP marked off and I'm just hoping the dates stay similar enough that the plan still works even if we have to do some switching with our day plans.

We'll be at AKL-Kidani Nov 23-29 before heading on a Treasure cruise. We've never been over Thanksgiving and plan to take it easier than normal, 1-2 parties and 1 park day. We are just waiting on party days to decide what exactly we want to do.

We kind of lucked out. We are there week of Halloween and week after, so last Halloween party is Friday 10/31 and more than likely Christmas party won't start until 11/7 (Friday we leave) so we have entire week of MK with no party days!

We did Christmas and Jollywood last trip, so not sad to miss this time. We are doing Halloween party though on 10/30.

Am I crazy that the wording on here gives me hope Jollywood Nights is coming back?! https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/hollywood-studios/jollywood-nights/

"Please check back for information regarding future events." "Though offerings are subject to change, here are entertainment highlights from the 2024 event."

I got sick at the beginning of the party last year, so we missed it. I'd really like to go this year!
What day were you booked for? There was a lot of norovirus going around Nov/Dec.

We are most likely skipping Jollywood again (never been)-we’re traveling with extended family with kids. MVMCP won and the MK days will be packed (there are so many parties).

So many decision. I already have a list of plans (plan a, b and c) depending on Jollywood and MVMCP days. There are so many decisions that rest on these.

They should really allow multi park bookings between MK, HS and Epcot (parks with tiers of course) with the purchase of park hoppers. I’d love to book Remy but spend am at MK riding tier 2 rides, esp since we have another MK day.

I'm like, really not doing much planning for this trip! Last trip was in December and we had people coming with us. I had done sooooo much planning as far as rides, parties, restaurants, LL, a lot. Then the trip was kind of a disappointment 😂 So much that we did something we never do, book a bounce back. For just the two of us.

This trip I feel like we are mostly just showing up! My husband keeps stressing that because we kind of just ran around last trip, not really stopping to just enjoy, this trip he wants to do opposite and I agree.
I got us MNSSHP tickets for 10/30 and that's about our only plans so far. I know we will pick some restaurants w/hard to get ADRs, but then I think we will play mostly by ear. I know we will purchase rides for Tron, Guardians, Mine Train and Rise, but as far as making LL, I'm just not very stressed.

I'm still very excited, but just so unbothered about planning this time around. :D

Didn’t discounts for summer 2025 come out a little earlier than 2024? Like a week early or am I wrong?Just wondering if fall and winter may come out a little earlier.

December 18
We traveled Dec 20 (couldn’t do Jollywood or MVMCP never been to either; been multiple times to MNSSHP). Fortunately we had a long trip so had a few good days toward the end.

Really looking forward to our first MVMCP. I’ve purchased Cheryl’s cookies in the past (avail on Costco as well) at home and they are really good although super sweet. We were given free cookies and POG juice at the Poly on 12/24 (in the GCH). They said they usually give them out on major holidays (we’ve never gotten any on our NYE trip).

We are doing the opposite. Despite my best judgement and knowing how much planning goes into these trips we ended up booking a trip with extended family with lucky me as the negotiator (planner whose suggestions don’t get taken).

I’ve guided very receptive friends who absorbed all the info like a sponge and had very successful trips but family is so much harder; they’re stubborn and don’t spend the time trying to actually understand the parks, the rides/intensity and how crowded they are.
