re: Fastpass for 11/12 - 11/19 -
1. Sunday - 2nd to last day of Food festival @ Epcot. What do folks think? FP Soarin' @ 12pm or Frozen (currently have Frozen FP for 8pm, which may not have much wait at that time anyway). It's a lower crowd week, but probably extra people for the food festival, though maybe not all have kids interested in FEA.
we are at MK that day, had planned to hop over to EPCOT when MK closes at 7PM but are leery about it being the last Sunday of F+W. I think we are going to DS for dinner instead. but we have FP+ for FEA later in the week and will Rope Drop Soarin

me too, thinking we will need shorts, capris, maybe jeans.
coming from MA so will have jeans and jackets when we board the plane

forecast for our week are highs 73-79/80

We are also coming from MA and arriving the same day I think even! our stay is 11/12 - 11/19! Anything above 60 will be warm for us!

except for the 12th, Accuweather has the lows as 60-63 11/12-11/19. I tend to be cold so will need a jacket for 60-63!

We fly allegiant all the time.. make sure u check in on yr phone. They charge a $5 fee at airport, arrive the 2 hours early cause they board very early... 45 min b4 take off we were on our plane in june.. it was odd they took cash only for snacks on way down to fl.. so I got cash ready and on way back only took cc for drinks.. they_were vry flexible with weight in suitcase we were over so I always carry a bag took out some shirts and they sent us on our way..we buy our seats ..but if u getv there early I'm sure u can get them together
Thanks for the info!!!

Family is FP Soarin' 11/13 at 12:15 and I could ditch FEA 8:15 to go with them. Think wait times will still be long for FEA at 8pm?

So, this is the email I received from Parksavers. Honestly, if it only takes a couple of days that's fine. Well, not horrible. However, it can take up to 2 weeks! We'll be at Disney then. Disney who we specifically budgeted for and now over $1500 of our emergency fund is tied up. I'm newly pregnant and highly emotional and can not think of a proper response.
Sorry, add to deleted the screenshot as it contained my phone number. This is the email:

Hello Amanda,

Thank you for contacting us! We are just finishing up the email that explains this situation as best as possible.

We do not have a specific timeline as to how soon the 2nd charge will be dropped. Parksavers is applying as much pressure as possible to our payment processor to drop the duplicate charges and sincerely hope they will do so within the next two days. As we are approaching a weekend, the charge might still be on there over this coming weekend to be cleared Monday or Tuesday. As with all banking institutions, it could take up to two weeks, but I highly doubt this is the case and Parksavers will take alternative action to help you if the situation gets that drastic.

Please let me know if that is an issue. We absolutely agree that this situation is not appropriate and want to help you as much as we can, and as soon as possible.

Alaina H.

Its not your fault that a duplicate charge was processed to your account. Parksavers should immediately make you whole regardless of how long it takes the banking system to process the reversal.

I think they put it through immediately, but it doesn't always show up immediately. The financial institution has to get updated and everything, on both ends, so that's why they usually say it can take 2 business days.

Hi! We will be at Epcot the same day! I would have loved to get a fast pass for Frozen Ever After so I think you should probably stick with that. I have heard that there are long waits, close to 2 hours, for that ride and it sounds like it has also had some breakdowns. I have also seen that Soarin' has had some long wait times too. I do think you will have less of a wait at Soarin' than FEA. We plan to rope drop that day and go right to FEA.
Good luck in your decision! See you there! Hehe

17 days.....
They extended park hours (again) for 13-21....

Gonna be more like a 7-8 crowd wise....forget the 3-4, especially since they are doing it this far out.....

thanks for the update. Looks like mostly extended the hours at night; with a 6 year old in the group, we won't be out that late.
Rope Drop for sure, most of our days still look like 9AM opening.

did u guys hear they chnged wishes? does it make a diff? is the new frozen 1 better?

8am opening on Friday 18th also......

Maybe making up for the early closing 11/17......

They didn't change Wishes; they added the Frozen Holiday Wish show that lights up Cinderella castle in the evenings during Christmas season. It is totally separate from Wishes. They did announce today, however, that Celebrate the Magic (the projection show before Wishes) is changing on November 4 to Once Upon a Time.

I have a shopping question I would love to have some input on. I will be at the parks in a little over two weeks and I love shopping while I'm there. I plan to buy a glass ornament but I just saw that the Disney store online has 25% off holiday merchandise right now. Do I buy the ornament now and save money? It would save me $6. I also wouldn't need to worry about carrying it around or having it break while transporting it, by airplane. But then I feel like I kind of miss out on the fun of shopping at Disney. I will still go in the stores and look but then I won't have bought our ornament AT Disney World. I know it's kind of a silly question but I appreciate any input. Thanks!
