When should I expect our Magic Bands? Any tips on flying Allegiant and packing???
We're flying Allegiant for the first time this trip so I can't really offer any tips. I prepaid for 1 checked bag and 2 carry on bags (for our family of 4) when I booked our trip months ago, but I have been stressing over how to fit all of our Tinkerbell gifts in (thinking we may have to mail them ahead of time to the resort and then mail them back home before we check out), so I just added another carry on bag. I figure that significantly lowering my stress level is worth paying an extra $36. We're still paying about half of what our airfare tickets were on our last trip!

Just had to share my excited news somewhere and DH thinks I am crazy!!!! I am taking a trip to Universal with my 2 girls, my mom and dad, and my sister during Thanksgiving week (as DH will be in Hawaii for work...poor guy :furious:) So I decided to plan my own trip at that time. We were just going to do Universal for 4 days but decided to add on 1 day in MK as we missed a ton of stuff last time and my parents haven't been in years. Long story short, I've been checking MDE a couple times a day to see if I could score a Be Our Guest ADR as I would love to show my parents and sister. Yesterday while making dinner I totally scored one for our group of 6!!!!!!!!!!!! :dogdance::cloud9: :ccat:

I am soooooooooo excited!!!!!!:tiptoe:

I'm so glad you were able to get a reservation! BOG is my favorite restaurant so we are eating both lunch and dinner there! Enjoy! :mickeyjum

i keep trying to tweak my ADRs by like 5 minutes....not that I need to, I just feel the need to do something, lol
I keep doing the same thing! I can't leave them alone even though I got what we wanted the day I made our ADR's. I think searching for a slightly better time keeps me in my Disney Happy Place!:)

I only paid for 2 checked bags for 3 of us. With all of us carrying a backpack surely we will be ok. I'm worried about the things we bring home. Did you do priority seating or pick your seats???

My invites are ready...I'm going to roll them up (like a scroll), put their Magic Band around it, then put it in one of those trick or treat bags that some people use to fill with candy. Tie some ribbon around it....and sneak it into their ToT bags at the end of the night. Then when they dump all their candy out, they will see them (and hopefully don't throw them aside thinking it's something boring like candy corn, lol).

Awww - I LOVE this!!

We fly allegiant all the time.. make sure u check in on yr phone. They charge a $5 fee at airport, arrive the 2 hours early cause they board very early... 45 min b4 take off we were on our plane in june.. it was odd they took cash only for snacks on way down to fl.. so I got cash ready and on way back only took cc for drinks.. they_were vry flexible with weight in suitcase we were over so I always carry a bag took out some shirts and they sent us on our way..we buy our seats ..but if u getv there early I'm sure u can get them together

Ditto on the likely increased crowds and trying to take a chill attitude. I have fastpasses for pretty much everything I HAVE to see, so if it ends up being mobbed, well then I spend more time at the pool I guess.

I'm still in FP+ planning mode (we are staying offsite). So far, our 7DMT is super late, which won't work for us, so I keep trying to find something earlier- not easy with 11 people! I have a feeling FEA will be hard to get, too, especially since we are only at Epcot for half a day. Everything else is working out so far, though! I'm getting our touring plans ready, too :D

I did not do priority seating but I did pick our seats to be sure we're together. I picked the first two rows of the cheapest seats with one parent and one kid in each row.

re: Fastpass for 11/12 - 11/19 -
1. Sunday - 2nd to last day of Food festival @ Epcot. What do folks think? FP Soarin' @ 12pm or Frozen (currently have Frozen FP for 8pm, which may not have much wait at that time anyway). It's a lower crowd week, but probably extra people for the food festival, though maybe not all have kids interested in FEA.
