50 Days!!

I just wanted to let everyone who is searching for FastPasses and Dining Reservations know to not give up! We didn't plan far enough in advance to make any dining reservations at 180 days out. In fact, we didn't really start thinking about meals until about a month ago, so of course all of the popular spots were already taken.

After we made our FP+ reservations (which we were able to get everything that we wanted including E&A and 7DMT by logging in on separate accounts on two computers at midnight on day 60), we started thinking about meals. For the past 2 weeks, I've been checking the restaurants we wanted several times a day hoping for someone to cancel. I've also been watching the posts over at the November 2014 CANCELLED ADR Thread. Today I was able to snag a much wanted Chef Mickey breakfast for 7:25am for our first day in the parks (MK). We are pretty stoked to get to start our vacation off that way!! I was also able to snag a BOG dinner reservation for one of our last days of our trip! I think I became a bit addicted to checked the restaurant pages over and over

I was even able to book a few other character breakfasts as back up in case we didn't end up getting the Chef Mickey that we wanted. All of these reservations were not available when I first looked. Be persistent! It'll happen. I believe in Disney Magic!

Good for you! Your persistence paid off. I'll be up at midnight tonight to grab our FP+ reservations.

I've mapped out which park for each day of our visit using crowd calendars. We have yet to snag the coveted BOG reservation. I've been trying off and on. The day we want to go is a Friday night (Nov 14th) which may prove to be an impossible long shot. I figure though if we can't get a dinner reservation there, we can still go for QS lunch. That will of course depend on if it is a mad house for lunch too.

You know this is a Christmas party night so you'd have tog one before 7? I've been trying too it's hard to get! But I may send my daughter and her grandparents to the party for their "together time"

Try for a FP for lunch. They are available around 27 days from the day you want to visit the restaurant. From things I've been reading, I'd rather do lunch at BOG than dinner (less expenses, you don't miss anything like a show by doing lunch instead of dinner), so I'm actually hoping for a FP for one of our other MK days and get rid of my dinner ADR on Nov 7 cause it kinda conflicts with our schedule.

Is anyone out there going to Universal beginning of Jersey week? We'll be there from 11/1 Sat leaving Wed 11/5. I'm hoping it won't be too crowded and I won't need express pass- any ideas?

Are there FPs for fireworks spots as well? I didn't know this. The A&E FP is news to me as well, now I'm freaking out! We get to reserve our FP+ this Friday, so I'll log on Thursday night at 10pm and try to reserve what I can. Our girls will really want to meet A&E and we want the Mine Train as well...

Anyway, it's finally starting to feel like fall here!! YAY!!!!
Now to figure out how we're going to decorate our Magic Bands....

Got my FP+ and got most of what we wanted EXCEPT (***!) both wishes AND Main Street Electrical Parade are CLOSED the week we are going! I'm so disappointed. This is 1/2 the reason why we love the MK so much. I know its a risk that certain things will be closed but no fireworks AT ALL Disney? For NINE days?????? omg ***???? Lord I hope it's a typo.

So do not fear! You should see them appear soon.

Oh thank god! Thank you for letting me know that. Why is the world would they say it's closed for refurbishment if it is not? I mean, we all know what that phrase means when you go to Disney.

So made my fast passes last night at midnight. I got everything at the times I wanted except Seven Dwarfs.... Which I am a little annoyed about. In the summer, I was able to get it with no problem with tons of times, dates, available. Now, nothing....not one date or time during our trip. So frustrating.

I need help Has anyone booked with orbitz before? I have ready on other threads that since Disney has Orbitz as my address 'I just need to change it to mine' but I have been unable to do this. I called ORBITZ and Disney and neither acted like they could help me. Any advice?
