***Official November 2013***

Hey! Sounds great! We are looking into going to US for a few days as well. I personally don't care for US but my kids keep seeing the commercial showing their new parade and they really want to see it. Did you order your tickets directly from US? My DH and i would rather Sea World. we will see! Enjoy!
Nope, UO is the most expensive. Undercover Tourist tickets are a little cheaper, but not much. We found three options that were much more reasonable ... if you want one day tickets, the military offer is the cheapest if you know a service person. If you want three day hopper tickets and can find a Costco that is selling them they are about $145. I was all ready to get those (someone very kind on the East Coast offered to buy them for me and mail them), then I found 2 day hoppers on USSSA travel website for $110 apiece! DH really only wanted to go for 2 days, and spend the rest of our days in the World so that was what we settled on. I can send the link if you like.

We weren't going to go except that my friend was working there and offered us free tickets (we went on those tickets last year, it was amazing). Then they changed the policy so he had to quit (he has two jobs), but by then my DS7 had heard about the Transformers ride and there was no way he was going to be okay with skipping that! Thankfully those USSSA tickets saved my budget, though there's still parking and lunch to pay for when we get there (last year we spent $80 alone on parking/food/souvenirs with free tickets :scared1:).

It really is a phenomenal park if you like thrill rides at all; with all the new additions there, they're really upped their game lately.

That's when we will be there. YAY!!! Which area do you prefer? We've requested 50's building 1. We LOVE POP. Enjoy!!! :)

I have never stayed at Pop before so I have been reading the thread and checking out the maps. I don't have a preference yet, trying to figure out if I should add a request (besides connecting) or since there is no strong draw just let whatever happens, happen.

Why is building 1 your number one choice?

LOL we stayed at Pop a few years back - 70's section. Woke up to the Bee Gees and KC and the Sunshine band bright and early every morning! At first it got me going in the morning....I don't mind 70's music, but every day non-stop was a little too much for me. Needed a break from the decade when we got home!! lol not sure if that's what they still do, but make sure you stay in a section where you can tolerate the music for long periods of time! Lol

Oh well then DH is going to have a definite preference for 80's or 90's lol

We go 15 weeks from today (105 days).

Paying the Target Red Card way. For those that don't know, you get 5% off on everything in the store, inclduing gift cards. I've bought $1450 worth of Disney gift cards so far, saving $72.50. We have $1400 left to pay, so we're likely going to do a one time splurge for $500 and then $100 weekly until it's done.

Doing that for $2500 saves us $125, which is a very nice meal, or plenty of souveniers.

I recently heard about this Target 5% discounted RED CARD and I tried it last week. I purchased $250 worth of Disney Gift cards and gave the cashier my 5% discount card and sure enough they were discounted the 5%. It may not seem like much.....but any disney discount is better than no disney discount :woohoo:
