***Official November 2013***

I am still trying to tweek my ADRs after switching resorts on 8/1. We were booked at Poly so most of our ADRs were centered around the monorail resorts and now we are at an Epcot resort.

Also waiting to book the Dessert party for Wishes.

Thinking about whether I want to book Cali Grill Monday when it opens, most likely will then cancel if I change my mind later.

Are you all set with your ADRs?

So far, yes but only if I don't change my mind. Right now we have trails end, via napoli, rose and crown, kona, grand floridian cafe mama melrose and the wave. Don't really care about bog so I can avoid those crowds. Seems like it maybe a good idea to hit the rides around lunch time while everyones trying to get a table there.

We're doing a split stay at pofq 11/10 then moving to POR on the 11th to start are pkg with fd. First time staying at both resort's. Not thrilled about the split but this is alot easier on my mother since she needs a scooter and she can just drive over to POR the next morning. Does everyone have all there adrs set?

We have most of our ADR's, even though I still keep trying to change some times. Even though my times aren't perfectly as I want them, at least I have my must-do's taken care of.

We have HDDR, TH breakfast, CP breakfast, 50's PTC dinner, Raglan Road dinner, Akershus breakfast, and Ohana dinner.

We also just added another night so I have to figure out another ADR.

When it came down to picking, I let my son pick two,my mother picked two then me. My son is 16 and does not want to go to a character breakfast so it took some time finding a buffet with no characters, that's near the monorail(for my mom's scooter) and reasonable since this one were going to pay oop. The Wave seemed the best. But I'm still waiting to book a ress for the dessert party on the 10th. I just hope(and pray) these magic bands won't screw up with getting my tickets early. It would stink if I pay for the dessert party then can't get in.

I have artists point but hoping to switch it to the Cali grill on Monday, like everyone and their brother. :) we also have Ohana on our resort day, if my husband gets a new job we would add another if possible but for now it's all cs for us :)

Good luck to your husband. Hope he gets the job he's looking for. The first time i got fd, we kept the qs and thought it was great. I would prefer qs over the regular dining because there's alot more freedom with not being tied down to a reservation. We're staying at POR so we get the regular dining but I remember eating alot at the pepper market because they have a really good steak that's on the qs plan.

Hmm...I better be ready on Monday. Maybe some people with Ohana reservations will be switching to Cali Grill! I'm not giving up yet!
And the kids start back to school next Tuesday so maybe I will be able to check reservations more than once or twice a day.

I have a friend that camps by Knobels and always raves about it. Maybe we will try that next summer.
ALL the rides were for little kids at Dutch Wonderland, even the water slides. They even have characters, a princess, prince and dragon, and a really good generic "Princess and the frog" diving show. At age 10, I'd say they might get bored though, definitely for younger ones.

Thanks, that's great to know!! My kids are under 5 so they'd probably love it! So nice to have so many fun things for the kids so close to home!!

As of now I have Via Napoli, Kouzzina's, BOG, and Flying Fish

Via Napoli seems to be very popular. First time trying this resteraunts and the one my son picked. Huge pizza fan and hoping it's better than the pizza they serve at the resort's.

This will be our 3rd time eating at Via Napoli, we love it, the pizza is very close to what I grew up on in an old Italian neighborhood, the crust is thin and charred. I actually have 2 ADRs this trip as I want to try one of their pasta dishes in addition to having a pizza.

Sheila we didn't coordinate this very well did we? We could have been meeting in the lounge for breakfast if it wasn't for a couple of weeks!:headache:

Why not? We're they full? I know I was not able to get my preferred time but was able to get an early dinner (4:30) were going to THE WAVE for a buffet breakfast that morning before going to Epcot so I figured we probably won't eat lunch that day.

All CS for us I haven't jumped on the TS train yet. Dont really feel like having to be somewhere at a certain time. Maybe in a few years when it's just my wife and I, but not yet.

Actually I didn't even book it, but now remembering how much we loved it, maybe we will add it in somewhere!

Usually my Disney meals have been Quick service but with this trip being just my husband and I, and planned way in advance compared to past trips, so we planned at 180 days and added another meal once Free dining came up.

So we have

LeCelier, Crystal Palace, Brown Derby/Imagineer lunch, Columbia Harbour House as part of MK Tour, Flying fish, Be Our Guest, Ohana, and Yak&Yeti.

Would never have been able to enjoy or afford with the kids so very much looking forward to Our "Anniversary trip" with free dining for most of the meals and not a heart ache to pick up the rest with Disney Visa to get reward points for my next vacation.

Happy Anniversary, how many years? Will be 25 years this Sept 10th for my husband and I. But when it comes to wdw, he stays at home and it will be myself, son and 70 year ago mother. He's not as crazy as I am when it comes to wdw. And since it seems like iv been planning this trip every day for the past seven months I think he feels like he's already lived through this trip.

Sorry if you have already posted about this, but since I don't see faces I don't keep stories straight.
Our 25th is November 5th.
My past two trips were not with my husband, but this time he was willing to go since it was just the two of us (well and my friend and her husband....same vacation but not all the same day plans) and we could do the adult stuff.
I also noticed you are in RI. We are in central MA.

Your counter looks like you are there the week before us. Unless I've got what mine says wrong in my head. LOL I remember the days better. 84 for us.

POR was not available when we switched from FQ for free dining so we will be at CSR. Once we got that and read the reviews we decided to give that a try.

If my mom was still with us, I bet I would be going with her too at some point. She loved the idea of Disney. But Lung Cancer took her at a young 53 years of age. I miss her. I ride it's a small world each vacation just for her.

Oh and I thought my husband would get sick of me talking about our planned trip but 3 of his coworkers are going with their families various times around us so they have been talking at work and he is getting into it because of my planning and them being jealous. LOL

Sorry you lost your mother at such a young age. We're accutally celebrating my mother's 70th birthday in wdw. Seems like our story is a little bit the same. I have two coworkers going to wdw the week before me. My sister is going to be there November 2-11 at fort wilderness and will be surprising my mother there. (She thinks she's camping in Maine) and going to get ress for the dessert party on the 10th. I'm from burrillville ri. Which is in the northwest corner of the state. Hope you and your husband have a wonderful 25th.
