Hi! DH and I are going to the World for our 22nd anniversary trip, 11/19- 11/22. We will be staying at Pop with free dining.

Very excited to do an adults-only trip! DD will be in the midst of her sophomore year of high school and will stay with friends while we are gone. We are looking forward to non-commando touring and just enjoying the parks and resort with each other.

Can't do 2 things in one night so I had to make a choice. The only night that MVMCP is available when we are there is 12/1. That night is also the last night Gary Sinese will be the Narrator at Candlelight Processional & I already have a dinner package set up. I won't give up Gary Sinese. I guess we'll just have to go back to WDW at Christmas some other time for MVMCP.

Our tickets are on order w: our TA (she's on vacation), but we plan on going 11/21 - celebrating DS bday (9) one mo. early. So excited!!!

We miss Candlelight Processional. We are there a week too early.
Oh well guess I'll have to figure out how to go back to WDW another time for Christmas too.

Sorry to hear that. I would have made the same choice as you if I were in the same position. Fortunately we are ableto be to see Gary Sinese on Nov. 30th with a dinner package and go to the MVMCP on Dec. 3rd.

Hello all!! We will be going 11/18 to 11/25 and staying at SSR! We have been to the World many times in the past but this is the first trip that it will just be my little family of 4. Usually we have 12 other inlaws, sisters, cousins, parents etc..which is a lot of fun...but....I'm so excited to not have to worry about what all of those people want to do and DH and I can just focus on our DS 6 & DS 2. Can't wait! Happy planning everyone!

Already day dreaming and hoping for sometime February/March.
Need to find out what goes on those months. I know about the marathons.

I have to look into something before April 16th when our PAPs run out. Probably February or March. Trying to get as much use out of them as possible. Used 4 days in April, will use 6 days at the end of this month, 2 days in November after our cruise and have to wait and see what we end up doing in 2014 before they expire.

We are headed to WDW--11/1/13 to 11/8/13.

Family of 5---all adults. (I'm mom!)
We're headed out from California & we are Premier Annual Passholders.
One DD has Down syndrome-- so we tend to move slower through the parks. We're cool with that though-- as we're Disney park veterans....

Now I need to go back-- and read the thread from the beginning....

Oh--and this is our first time staying off property. We're staying @ Wyndham Bonnet Creek. I'm actually looking forward to it!

I know not related to the poster's question here but which Jersey shore point was Disney's Boardwalk modeled after? AC? Wildwood?
I agree though, I could spend a TON of time in DTD, at the stores, the Lego store for one, the candy store, and of course Once Upon a Toy! My kids have never been but I'm sure even they would be o.k. with that sort of shopping! There is also Disney Quest there if your kids like that sort of thing.

It's supposed to be modelled around AC. And AC did look like that prior to the casinos being built. I understand the revenue, but you won't catch me in AC at all anymore (unless the Rolling Stones are in concert); it's crime-ridden and "women of the night" are on every corner. If you get off the Boardwalk, all you see is trash and nastiness. No thanks.

But, Ocean City's boardwalk is nice. Expensive, but nice. And Wildwood is ok. I've only ever been to Wildwood last year to take my kids to a waterpark (thank you, Groupon!), but it's also expensive.

My hubby grew up vacationing in Rehoboth Beach, DE....and I really like all the shops and food that's on that boardwalk. Actually....we're headed there this Saturday (if I can get him out of a previous commitment).

I think hubby & I will do an adults only trip in a couple of years. My daughter is on a three-year track to graduate high school, so I can plan for one in, say, four years. LOL

Wow! One of the lucky ones that could stay at Port Orleans (a lot of people had to move over to CBR or CSR).

You'll be there in between my dates! I've heard the WBC is very nice. However, be aware you may receive some solicitation phone calls if you don't already own a timeshare there. I'd just turn my ringer off (except for the wake up call). lol

Not sure why but the one on my phone got messed up over the weekend. I had to delete it and do it again. hmmmmmmm whoever is messing with us better stop as this is serious Disney business!
