Thanks guys. Everyone here is so nice! Sorry some fo you have been having ha times too. Life can be so tough, I think that's one of the reasons I love disney world so much. Planning and going is such a great escape. True so are many places, but not a total escape, and such magic for the kids. If I could afford it I think I'd do every other year at disney, the other year in another country. However, this is it for now and I am super happy I get to go again! I thought our trip last fall would be the last for 4 years or so! That was the plan until I walked under the train station on our last day and burs into tears like a kid hahahaha.

We went to Paris twice and I used to get this way about Paris too! Still do, but since we can't afford the flights in the near future here we are. Extra happy my mom is meeting us, it was her brother who died and she definitely could use some fun with us and some escape. Her life is 100% difficult now on several levels sadly.

For the shirt,great suggestions! I forgot about the Dino's, he wore a Dino tee last year. I have to get going and paint their MK shirts. That and I think I am making DD a skirt. For MK is enough crafting for the three weeks we have before we go. S looking to buy, most likely. Hopefully I find something next week!!!

I will checkout the online sellers, might be too pricey.

I am driving myself nuts thinking I need to switch some things around. My sister arrives late Monday night and is staying off-site, she plans to meets us Tuesday morning at POR and check-in then head to AK. But AK now opens at 8am and I don't think we will get there that early. We already have an ADR at 50s PTC so I thought we would make Tuesday our DHS day, move AK to Thanksgiving along with still going to DHS for Fantasmic.

I am now also questioning if I should get FP+'s for our morning park instead of our evening park. We normally in the evening eat dinner, catch some of the low key attractions and watch the nighttime shows.

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

We're planning on ak thanksgiving day too.

A couple questions: 1. Is Ariels Grotto really closed for Nov 11 - 17 (it just opened...why would they need to refurbish it already) and 2. (and i've asked this before but got different answers) where do the parades start? Front or back of MK? Really want to see Electrical parade and Christmas parade (at MVMCP) but I don't want to get stuck in the back of the park when he parades are over.

(Not directed at the people arguing, just the jersey thing) Of course I am originally fri Maine, then Colorado so I don't have a queens accent Regarding our trips, I am suddenly having trouble being in the disney spirit. I lost my uncle this week, we have pot out our cat to sleep on Sunday. I have all these other things going wrong..I thought doing disney stuff would make some of it better but I guess I am just a. Bit too down. I hope if I can get past this weekend or next week it can improve...usually disney is such a great escape form everyday issues. Wah, . I am waiting to see if I got through to the second round of moms panel, and waiting to see if I get media tickets from the parks so my husband and I can have an adults night at MK! It's been three weeks since I applied getting nervous! I did spend some time squashing magic bands under some plates to reform them though that made me kind of happy!

So excited to receive our Magic Bands today! We did get an invite to participate in FP+ in the mail yesterday and the e-mail the bands have been shipped early this morning. So excited - less than a month to go now!!!

I was thinking it was just PMS for me, but you are right the moon is in place. WAIT!!! Does that mean we will have a full moon on vacation? Yikes!

Ya so not interested in being there during Jersey week. Looks like my week is risky enough.

Yep, full moon on November 17th - cool, that is the night we are going back to the resort early to swim (weather permitting).

The parks are pretty much the only time I am without my iPad. It fits perfectly in my Coach bag. I even carry it around the house. I've been known to email DSis from a different floor. ;-)

Oddly enough my computer is actually a desktop. The rest of the family has laptops but I needed the extra power and a boosted graphics card for a Photoshop and gaming. Yes, I'm a total geek.

I'm so bad I have a phone, tablet, laptop and desktop. Oh, and don't forget my PS3 which is for me, not the kids. This is why I can't vacation in Disney as much as I'd like, I spend too much money on tech.

In my defense I went to engineering school and we were the first college to be fully wired back in the day. We were on a VAX system so we were already chatting with other college kids from around the world before the internet fully rolled out. When I think about the computing capacity my first one had I can't help but laugh.

That works too! My mother loved children and loved it's a Small World ride!
She died 16 years ago. (Lung Cancer)
So when I go to MK I always ride it at least once.

BUT I don't see how I could have fit in my cheer for 30 days in that song!

I think they mean the old Grotto that got replaced, not sure why they still have that one on MDE for FP+, but I'm pretty sure I already had that verified by one of the CMs.

I just for giggles checked the tracking. My email this morning said MBs ship today, but the tracking says it's out for delivery! LOL
They were just customizing them yesterday!!!!

My Disney store order should come today too.
I got a canvas Disney world 2013 back/cinch pack for the parks.

Sorry about your funk, buck up little camper.

This is my theory about the letter. We were able to customize as soon as they loaded our month and we were within 60 days. The normal default of having up to 30 days before your trip to customize before they ship kicked in because that will be what it is in the future. However, during this testing phase they know a lot of people won't know about MBs and they couldn't send out invitations as early as they would have liked because they wanted all the options for the month loaded before invited went out. So, they altered the date that things need to be customized by to give people more time. However, if you had already customized the bands and hit Done the new date didn't apply to you. If we hadn't gone into that page and done all that we might have found the new date in there after we got our invitations.

Having friends in Jersey always helps I'm so bad I have a phone, tablet, laptop and desktop. Oh, and don't forget my PS3 which is for me, not the kids. I came into the industry via a back door but I've worked on the VAX. DH actually hosted a bulletin board on his Atari 800 in high school. His Dad was in I.T. So they had a dedicated phone modem line for his work. of course only one person could call in at a time. And after college DH and I used to hang out in mainframe hosted chat rooms. I met one of my dearest friends that way. She was in our wedding and people were always amazed that we met online because this was all pre-Internet.

We still have the Atari and all it's peripherals. We did just get rid of the PS3 but that's because we have the Xbox and WIIU and the new Xbox is coming for Christmas. But I'm pretty old school when it comes to gaming; I'll take the PC over the console any day. Though the voice features have some serious potential.
