Leaving four weeks from today for Thanksgiving with my wife's family in Boynton Beach, then four days in our favorite place for our first DVC trip...we are getting SO excited. Our daughter already took her first trip in May, now she is taking her second trip in November at 11 1/2 months, then her third trip in January! This kid is really going to be spoiled!!

My vacuum just broke, but you definitely win! I would be freaking out. I hope you can get a repair man soon!

LOL our dryer broke. We leave Sunday, to stay at the airport and fly to Florida on Monday. I have been washing a few loads and heading to laundromat to dry them.

Good timing, huh?

We have Sears coming on Saturday afternoon. I just hope they have the parts they need with them! I'm washing a load at my neighbor's house right now. Luckily I've already washed the summer clothes so it's just the clothes we are currently using.

OMG I thought I was the only one my washer broke 2 weeks ago just got the new one delivered. I can't complain too much my washer and dryer are 22 years old. The timing stinks though

We got a great deal at Lowes they were offereing 0 down and no interest for 18 months. Good thing since the new washer was over $1000.00

This will be our first time using DDP (I have used QSDP once before) so I am excited to do that, see Disney again, and, most especially, see my girlfriend again (we have a long distance relationship).

I am counting the days... come on November 10th!!!

You are not alone! I have 8 people in our group.. all adults. I am having a "Shirt day" for us to wear our matching shirts. My brother has already warned me that his fiance is not wanting to wear matching shirts and look "dorky". I really wanted to make more shirts but I am holding back. Instead I have printed some DISigns that I laminated and will put in our resort room windows.

bringing a variety, when we were there in 2009 from oct 30-nov 5 it was HOT, tshirts and shorts all day, hot enough to swim etc but there was a night or two where it got cool enough for a sweat shirt, weather.com is predicting low to mid 80's during the day and 60's at night

I getting out the suitcases tomorrow. I'll have to strategically hide them in my room. We leave next Thursday and I've managed to keep the trip a secret from ds11. He'll get home from school next Thurs at 3:45pm, and we leave for the airport at 4:30pm!!! lol. He's going to be so surprised.

According to weather.com, it's showing upper 70s during the day, and 50's at night. That is definitely low enough for me to have our fleece jackets at night.

We're going to do the MK EMH night on Nov 5th until 3am. Well, I bet ds11 & I don't make it past 11pm!!! lol.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!

That sounds awesome! We are doing almost the same thing. We leave next Wednesday, will be picking the kids up from school early for a "doctor's appointment", then stopping back at the house for the insurance card. DH will be waiting in the foyer with the videocamera, suitcases, and Mickey ears. Have a great trip.

wow just out of curiosity was checking our dates(11/3-11/12) on the site under the free dining link and akl,wl,pofq,por,csr are all gone and Cbr only has pirate water view rooms left I stopped looking after that,then checked without the fd and most are still sold out...is it going to be totally mobbed that week?????

9 days left!!!! and for some reason cant do online check in? Been trying 2 days now and keeps coming up with error, system update,your info doesnt match our records....but when I sign into the site itself my reservation info comes up fine, all my adrs are there etc its just an issue when I click on online check in...anyone else having this problem?

180 out we made all our ADR's one of them being the Fantasmic dinner package. My Frantic friend was looking around and saw that the day of our Dinner Fantasmic was canceled!!!
So like any nut we got on the phone can called Disney Canceled the dinner Ressie ended up with the SCIFI. Not a bad trade! after a while i stopped to think HEY all i wanted was the vip seats! why didn't Disney call ME? Why did i have to find out for myself? So i wrote an e-mail NOT snotty not written with my hand out like gimmie gimme. Just i thought it was strange that they canceled fantasmic without tell me or why was i able to make the ressie in the beginning, I mean what would have happened if we did not know? show up for the dinner package and there is nothing there?!?!
Disney called me said what a well written letter it was and I can pick up my VIP seating on a certain day!!! they DID NOT have to do that and i told her this SEVERAL times I was more in the mind set of "oh crap is this the way the trip is going to be?!?! is there going to be issues?!?! Can't have that this is our happy place!
I LOVE DISNEY they really do care about keeping magic and people happy!!! Of COURSE i wrote another email stating how nice the women was who called and went over and beyond to help and make our trip it's best!!!

found out this morning that at some point my "household "name was noted as my legal hyphenated name(ex: jones-smith) even though the invoice,adrs etc all just have my 1 last name(smith) on them so that caused a glitch in the system they cant fix,so my reservation is there and I can check in at the desk no prob but the computer is confused by the 2 names so it wont allow online check in

Sorry about your lack of online checkin; hope you get a quick checkin when you arrive. DH did the online checkin last night and it wouldn't work for him either. It took him forever because it kept saying there were errors, but he finally got it. Have a great trip.
