I am going nov 9-16 staying at GF from 9-13 then 13-16 staying at akl going to MVMCP on the 13th and going to a wedding on the 10th!!

This will be our family's 2nd time to spend Thanksgiving at WDW! We can't wait to drive under the welcome sign and take lots of pics as if we've never seen it before. We'll be there 11/19-24 and are staying at Sports! Can't wait!!!!! We love seeing all the decorations at Christmas!

The kids have never been (and don't know we're going yet) and DH and I haven't been since 1998. A lot has changed since then! We're excited! We're flying in from Charlotte, NC.

We'll be at POR 11/11-11/17!! Our first trip to WDW and the kids have no idea!! And DD turns 11 while we're there! Getting so close, I can't even stand it!

We'll be next door at POFQ 11/19-11/26! Do you have an ADR for Thanksgiving yet? We're eating at Captain's Grille... had a surprisingly good Thanksgiving dinner there a few years ago and my DD asked if we could go again. She liked the mini pumpkin cheesecakes.

I stink at keeping the trip a surprise for my kids. I love the idea of it, but we have so much fun anticipating the trip- what we're going to do, where we'll eat, etc- that I always give in and tell. Do you have a plan to tell them?

I feel like dancing today! We are almost at the 45 day mark! Trip is paid off! On Wed. we will be 45 days!!!!!!

I hope the weather is sunny and warm! Fingers crossed! We had our 1st snow fall on Fri. but today is warmer and the sun is out. Looking forward to our trip!

Hey neighbor I grew up in Elkton what a small world.

For the LGMH at Home Depot they sell Disney paint colors and have samples of the colors in the shape of Mickey's head. There is a shade of green similar to the lime green for the DIS. You can write your DIS name and put a hole and attach with ribbon etc. I know some DISer's have laminated them as well.

No, we haven't gone to it for years. Use to go every year. Just can't justify the cost. I'd rather stay 4 nights at a value than one night with the family at MNSSHP. We will do Sea World's Spooktacular again. We are meeting another DISer for a carriage ride at POR too! And another night we are meeting a MAW family while their daughter performs at the House of Blues!!! Of course we have to leave one night available for the resort's camp fire and a movie!! Love the pool activities they've added!!!! And can't forget a Dole whip meet with some fellow DISers!!
