So bummed that Free Dining isn't included for my dates .

Seems like the black out dates are weird! . We couldd get free dining for Christmas week as long as we check in on or before December 21 but not for the 1st week of November...sucks. Just my luck. OH, well, I have MNSSHP to look forward to!

November 20th-27th - Thanksgiving Week. This is our first time at WDW during a major busy holiday. I'm a little nervous but so excited to see my favorite place decked out for Christmas.

Yah, I will use my 20/30/40 PIN for the room and eat out of pocket. My only table services will be dinner at 'Ohana's each night (yes, I like it that much!) and I will have a fridge w/ snacks in my room plus a few quick services so I should be fine.

Well I just switched dates from August to November! So we have to wait an extra 3+ months, but we get to see all of the beautiful decorations!

Our dates are 11/28-12/3. But driving and leaving 11/26 and first staying with some family for a quick visit before going to Disney for the week! And now my mom is talking about joining us!

Oh NO!! Great big frown! We will pass you on the road somewhere along I-95!! We are leaving on the 27th and will arrive home on the 28th. We usually can't wrest ourselves from the place, so we tend to leave as late as possible. We will however, have to drive to Florida Tech first, to return Max to his dorm before we hit the road north, so we can't linger at DTD til 11:00 pm and close down Ghirardeli's like we've done before!

Maybe we can keep in touch by cell phone and meet up at a Cracker Barrel on the road!

I have been wondering if the Gingerbread House will be up while I am in WDW this November....I am curious are Your pics from last year
2009 when the MVMCP and OL started on Nov 10? I have my fingers crossed that it will be up before we leave since MVMCP and OL start Nov 8th this year, I will be there from Nov 8th - 13th

We'll be at AKL, Nov 14-21.

You know they extended the free dining to Dec 21st. There are of course, plenty of black-out dates... such as for instance, the week I'm going.. but.. that wouldn't have mattered since free dining is not available to us DVC members staying DVC.

WAHOO! Add me to the list! Our trip is still dependent on DH getting a job....BUT I think he's pretty close so prayers & pixie dust still needed....

a little history....We have went to WDW as a family 3 times - the last being in 2003. Then dh decided he didn't really want to go anymore...& the wonderful gig called free dining got rolling in 2005...so my 2 girls & I have went every year since 2005 just for a girls trip...last year we had the trip of a lifetime, oldest dd's marching band was performing so we went for a 16 day trip stayed at AKL and did Discovery Cove. We weren't planning on going in 2010 - we were supposed to be taking a 2 week Europe vacation (with Disney paris of course) ...then the darn volcano in Iceland erupted the DAY we were supposed to leave, our trip got cancelled, immediately after that on May 1st DH got let go from his job....let me say that he's a banker, so we're not in debt, & as long as he has a job within another 30 days we're fine.

BUT I'm now working, & hopefully DH's job prospect is looking up...so I booked a quickie November girls trip...Nove 12-17 Staying at our fav resort POP. I'm not telling the girls (16 & 11) as they are going to flip! My cost for the 3 of us is just a little over $1600 & I'm hoping to catch some good airfares...


SO to make a long story short! I'm GOING in November!!!
