Just got done purchasing our tickets for Sept. 14th! We are so excited to be going. :cool1: Looks like we will have plenty of good company joining us.

Can someone remind me where the poll is located showing when people are considering attending MNSSHP? I have read this entire thread but cannot remember where it is. Thank you

And make this more of discussion? We could use the september poll; I'd add link to bottom of first page and then we could create [unless already one] an october poll....

What do you all think?

Trish

Okay, I haven't read every single post on this thread, but it does not appear that anyone has posted this yet. My DH and I were trying to alter our dining plans before MNSSHP yesterday and the CM at Disney Dining said that guests with ONLY a MNSSHP ticket would not be able to enter the park until 7:00. DH asked her to make sure because we had been told when we ordered the tickets that we could enter at 4:30. She checked with her supervisor and said that MNSSHP only tickets would not be able to enter at 7:00. Has anyone else heard this?:confused3

Yes. I have heard that it has always been that way. If you have a regular park ticket, you can get a wrist band as early as 4 or 4:30. If you do not have a park pass, just MNSSHP pass, it's 7 pm.

I wouldn't get alarmed just yet. This perk is unofficial and unwritten and there are many CMs who don't know about it and will give the official stand on when you can enter.

This happens every year. I think they will continue to let party goers in at 4:00p however, there's always a small chance this perk can be taken away, but I doubt that will happen.

For those of you that have been before I have 2 questions:
1. How long has it taken you to get through the Adventureland and the Alice in Wonderland Trick-or-Treating Trails? What is the shortest amount of time it took you and what is the longest?
2. How long do the dance parties last? I know they are held every hour on the hour, but do they last about 30 minutes and then take a break until the next party?
I am trying to put together a touring plan so that we get to do everything we want (it seems like 5 hours is not enough time!). Here is what I have so far. If I have 2 times it is because 1 is from 2005 and 1 is from last year so who knows what it will be this year :)
7:00 The Adventureland trick-or-treating trail
Head over to Haunted Mansion
8:00 Ariel's dance partyin Fantasyland
8:30 get a viewing spot for villains show
9:00 Villains show
9:15/9:30 watch fireworks from same spot
10:00/10:30 watch parade (might move down by tomorrowland bridge to watch)
Go to Alice in Wonderland trick-or-treat trail
Head home

Please let me know what you think of this and if you have a tried-and-true plan I'd love to hear it! Thanks so much!:goodvibes

I'm so glad to see so many Diser's going on Sept. 21. We will be the family of four dressed in white dalmation shirts with a picture of Cruela on the front with a red line through her, like the no smoking signs. Stop us and say hi! Always great to run into friends:cheer2:

We will be there then..cowboy and saloon girl. We are almost neighbors to you ..waving from MO. which day do you arrive?

We arrive Sept.19 staying at ASMO. We also have ADR's at LTT at 5:50 party night. If you see us say hi! :cheer2:

My dad and sister don't want to dress up, do you have to dress up? I'd like to:rolleyes1 will you still be able to get treats even though you are not in costume?

Everyone can get treats, costumes or not. Last year we (DM, DD7, and myself) just wore themed t-shirts.

Here's our picture from my report on last years MNSSHP

(my bad-hair day!)

I love the shirts!!! I sometimes think that would be so much easier then trying to plan costumes for us all. I definately plan on reading your report! Thanks for the link!:goodvibes

Hi, we'll be there September 14th!
Staying at Pop that night, with a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare the next morning before some shopping at DTD! :woohoo:

Disneydaz -- I love your shirts. Did you make them yourself? It would be nice to have Disney t's that weren't so boy-shaped... (like your v-necks).

PhotoPass Question...

If you plan on buying a PhotoPass CD w/ pics from your entire trip, can you add the MNSSHP pics onto it, too? Can you just have the photographers scan your card as usual? I know you won't be able to take advantage of the 50% off party special, but if I can just add all the Halloween party pics to a CD, that would be ideal! :thumbsup2 Thanks!
