"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

Was wondering which day we should go. We are the week of November 6th. We can go on Tuesday or Thursday. Not sure which day will be less crowded. Any recommendations?

Hard to say.................the two days you mention are good days because they're in the middle of the week. Depends on your schedule. My family and I are going on Friday Nov 11th. That's the way it worked into our schedule. Just remember you have access to MK at 4pm. The party ticket works as a entry ticket.

Side tracking a bit, but was the Holiday Hootenanny Dance Party done last year as well? I would absolutely love if they did it this year! I'm sure with cuts, they won't, but I can dream!
I have no idea...I've actually never been to MVMCP! LOL

We're going on Friday, Nov 11th as well. We've never been to a party before, but the more I read about how the weekends are more crowded, the more nervous I feel about picking that day. It's our last day before heading home, so I picked that day to end our trip with a bang. I hope I don't regret it!

Another which day should we go question.....we will be there Dec 16 - Dec 20 so we have the option of Friday or Sunday night for the party. I would normally think Fridays would be busier but will there really be a difference since this is the last weekend of parties for the season?

Can someone tell me where Jack Skellington meets and is Sally with him?
We are trying to fit in this meet and greet as well as the dessert party. I'm thinking $300+ is not worth it anymore for prime parade seats and a few desserts, ugh
Last year he was behind Pete's Silly Sideshow. Sally did not meet with him. He was meeting guests though earlier then 7 pm. We waited a bit of time for him, but were done shortly after 7. Went from there to meet Rapunzel and Flynn. That took WAY longer than it should have....like hours. There was some sort of issue that night and the line did not move....at all. Everybody was complaining and the CM's just looked at us all like we were crazy. It was at least 9pm before we got out... it was great to meet Flynn, but a bad experience in and of itself. Aside from that one bad part, we really enjoy the party and will be going again this year.

Behind Pete's Silly Sideshow or in that tent? Are the lines marked correctly? This is our only must do meet and greet (Although I would like to meet Flynn :) ; I just don't want to waste a lot of time on it especially since we have the dessert party as well.

I'm not an expert, but I've read the parks and p

For those who have gone before, please tell me a good time to try to get in line for these set of characters:
  • Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore & Tigger
  • Mary Poppins, Bert & the Penguins
Thank you!!

I have a logistical question. We will already be IN MK the day of our party....do we need to go back up to the front of MK at 4:00 to get our party bracelets? Or can we get them elsewhere in MK?

There are usually a few different locations inside MK that you can obtain your party bracelet. Not sure where they've been located over the last few years as it's been a while since we've attended the parties. There will be signs outside the locations though to let guests know where to obtain these.

If I get in line at 6:00 for the 7Ds, can my family enjoy MK and then get it line with me later?

Touring plans recommend week nights over weekend nights, so I'd go for Thursday.
If you choose to go on the night of November 11 I have 1 adult ($65) and one child ticket ($60) for sale. I bought back in April/May and found out I was pregnant and can't go anymore! :)

Have you tried calling to ask for a refund? I mean, you have extenuating circumstances and with the Zika threat (real or not) I'd be surprised if Disney wouldn't work with you on this.

EDIT: And congratulations on the baby!

Oh good, thanks!

The 11th was the only day that worked in our plan..............Friday isn't the best day to do it.............it is what it is. To late now anyway! o_O We've got all 3 FP's set from 4 to 7pm............including 7DMT.............so we won't have a lot of rides to be done..................it'll work out.

It was not inside the building. There was a covered area probably more off to the side than behind...but you need to go past the store....if that makes sense. There was a CM kind of standing outside of the building, so I asked her for the location. There were not any signs for direction. It was maybe 6:15 or so when we got there and he was already meeting guests.

I want to know this one too. :) Is the line normally long for Mary Poppins? My 6 year son LOVES this movie and watches all the time.

We didn't have much of a wait at all right as we were leaving the park before close we saw them. So right as you exit Town Square Theater. Actually after the second parade Bert and Mary were dancing around the Christmas tree in the street, my son got video of it because absolutely no one was around them super cute.
