"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Wow thanks for the great info...geeze their raising the party ticket again!? Are we going to be getting more for this?

I'll update later but thank you so much

I am a little surprised by the $7 increase this year! The increase was always around $3. $74 plus tax!!!!!!!

Geez, we haven't been since 2010 and it was hard to swallow paying another $58 per person on top of our hoppers to attend.

(& I think they were less than $30 when we first went.)

Well remember guys you get to go into the park at 4pm and still are able to choose fast passes, but man I hope they offer something better that's a LOT of money for a family of 4.

I hope the very least the decorate the ENTIRE park - or light up the back of the castle.

I understand the business perspective, but you were already double dipping in people who came in for the day and those who have night tickets...

Let's hope on a BARE MINIMUM change is soft hot fresh chocolate chip cookies that actually taste good

We will be in Disney from Dec. 7-12. There are 3 party nights while we are there. I am on the fence about going. We went to a party in 2011 and had a blast. I know that I didn't buy my ticket for the 12-11 party until Nov. so I have time to decide. The $74 plus tax for 4 adults may help me decide not too.

any ideas what time tickets go on sale?

can you buy them online or over the phone?
any differance what time you can buy vs phone or online?

I just purchased our tickets for the December 18th party. It is the last night of our trip (combo WDW and cruise; the party will be the only parks we are doing).

Starwind

(I should clarify, I placed the order and the confirmation said "Your confirmation is currently pending due to system availability.". hopefully confirmation it has been processed comes soon !)

how/where did you buy your tickets?

:santa:There is a Direct Link for all of my Christmas Party people I will update the main thread reflecting not only the direct link to purchase the tickets, but the price increase as well.

Remember guys for a single ticket I was just pricing out:

Prices for your tickets with tax, and dates are as follows:
  • :santa: $74.00 with tax: $78.81 November: 8 10 12 13 15 17 19 December: 1 3 6 8 10 13 15
  • :santa: $79.00 with tax: $84.14 November: 20, 29 December: 4, 11, 17
  • :santa: $82.00 with tax: $87.33 December: 18
Wow the party is certainly increasing and that $87.33 it almost as much as a whole day ticket...wow. For a family of 4 it would be $349.32...ho, ho, ho indeed.

Note that on their page describing the party they have not yet placed the purchase link. I got to the link above via their drops: parks & tickets / special event tickets and the link on that page for MVMCP takes you to the above ordering URL. I should also note that MNSSHP tickets are also available.

THANKS!!!!

We kept refreshing the wrong page...we were on the party description page.....WHEW glad you posted the link

just completed our order...also got the same "Your confirmation is currently pending due to system availability."

So excited this will be our first MVMCP
we are doing it between our 4 day Dream cruise and 7 day Fantasy cruise on Dec 11th.

I would like to go to the party on Tuesday December 15th. When do tickets usually sell out? Is this something I should get soon? I've never been to one of the parties and I figured we will be there so it would be foolish to not go. Heck I'll forgo my souvenir money to go if I need to.

I purchased my tickets for November - in November...when it gets closer it might sell out more, but you SHOULD Be fine for now.

Just got my tickets purchased for December 3rd!!!! Sooooo excited to be going on my actual birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tickets for December 18th bought and printed! Now I just have to book early flights for the 18th so we can get to the park at 4:00 (and not lose the tickets).

Thanks for the heads up that these went on sale today!

We arrive at MCO at 220 pm on Dec 1. Doing the MVMCP on the 1st would be ideal, however, i am wondering if the risk of substantial flight delays is worth 160 in tickets. The only other options are Thurs the 3rd, 6th, and the more expensive 4th.

What would you do? It seems plenty of leeway from 220 to 7, even a 2 hour delay should be plenty of time to arrive at MK. The only thing that gives me pause is we are flying out of Lincoln, NE in winter, and our airport is not blessed by multiple flight options.

I am going to Party number 1 on Nov. 8th. just bought the tix I was at party number 1 last year and I was first in line to see the Dwarfs. It was awesome people were high fiving me yelling number 1 that's dedication. I got in line at 530 LOL I am nuts and so is the rest of my family but that's what makes us...us. I love this party so very much

Okay, need some advice. I REALLY want to meet all the princes with their princesses, plus Scrooge. That's the single biggest draw for me for MVMCP. Now... What dates would be best? My birthday is in mid-November, but my husband and I usually celebrate our anniversary in December at Disney. We can only afford one end-of-year trip as well. Originally I thought to go in the first week of December, starting that Thursday... But now I'm confused because I'm worried that it will be very crowded and the lines for M&G will be too long. I was planning on getting tickets for two days, over a Thurs-Mon trip.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Or have dates of sold-out party dates from last year (like the MNSSHP thread)? Help please!

That's an awfully big risk with a flight so close, I wouldn't risk it! I'd pick a different day, especially since you can get in at 4 with the party ticket and would basically be missing out on 3 hours of park time that you paid for by not getting there til 7. That's my 2 cents

Awesome!! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come back here and post a scanned in copy of the map for the rest of us! And let us know how the party is!!

I can't help with choosing a date but would suggest that lines for party specific activities are going to be long no matter when you go so maybe just choose the dates that will work best for you. From what I understand the parties get more popular every year and people seem to think that they are selling more tickets now than they did in the past so I don't think you are going to find a date that will be truly low crowds. Also if you were wanting to do any more holiday stuff I think some of it doesn't start until after Thanksgiving so take that into account (example the storytellers in epcot).

Does anyone have info on where all the spots are that you can pick up your wristbands? We plan to already be in the park on a regular ticket prior to the start of the party and I'd rather not go all the way to the front gate to get the wristbands. TIA!
