"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

I wouldn't hesitate to have my child miss a day of 1st grade. However, will that be the day of the class Christmas party? Will she be upset at missing out on that? Not likely if she'll be at WDW instead!

Yep, I"m pretty sure she'd take a party at the Kingdom anyday over a school xmas party. :thumbsup2

So if we can't swing arriving for the last party on the 18th because of the school schedule and arrive on the 19th instead, will there still be alot to see, do, and eat that's Christmas themed? Are the beautiful lights covering the castle lit only during MVMCP? I know we'll miss the special xmas parade, characters dressed in festive attire, castle overlays and fireworks that only take place during the parties but I'm guessing all of the decorations will still be up throughout the parks and resort to make it feel like Christmas.

Fyi, the disney website lists Dec 1 as a party date, you didnt have it listed.

I will be at the November 15th party. Going for a girls weekend with my sister and roommate from college. Woohoo no husbands or kids! Can't wait!

Sounds like a great time! We plan on being there for our trip in November. Although I have heard some say its not worth the extra money.

It absolutely is worth it to us. I started going to MVMCP in Nov 2013, and I couldn't believe I waited as long as I did! The past 2 years it was the highlight of my trip. Not everyone will enjoy it or think it is worth it, but go at least once! Last year, the park was practically empty on the night we went. We got a great spot in Liberty Square for the first parade, grabbed some hot chocolate (I'm not a snickerdoodle fan). We watched Holiday Wishes, and then I went on all of my favorite rides over and over with no waiting at all. The lines for the characters after 10pm were very short!

I believe- and i'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but the entire week of Christmas they show the Christmas parade, which is why there are no parties...although I cant say what fireworks there are. and the castle lighting is done nightly throughout the season regardless of a party night or not

I'll be attending the first party on November 8th! Planned my trip to see Halloween and Christmas in one! Any idea when the tickets go on sale? I've been eager to get them! :)

When the dates were announced, they said tickets will go on sale in April. It has been May in the past so I cannot wait! Just another thing to be excited for…. Waiting for them to come in the mail.

sorry I also forgot to add- all of the decorations at all of the parks and resorts will be up until the first few days of January, as well the places that sell gingerbread cookies and treats in the different resorts. so if you don't go to a party I think you may miss out on the characters being dressed up, and maybe the fireworks (But I feel like they do the holiday wishes nightly that last week) but overall the entire wdw resort is still in Christmas mode

I'm going for the first time this year on November 17th! I've never been to the Halloween or Christmas Party so I'm excited to finally get to try one of them.

I don't know if someone pointed it out yet but you posted the dates for November as "November: 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 29, 2015" but then on the list of whose going you list November 15, 18, and 20th. I think that November 18th slot is supposed to be November 17th or 19th?

Thanks for all the info and keeping the thread updated as new information comes out :goodvibes

My wife just phoned for tickets for 18th but you can't buy them yet :-( oh what a tease!

We're going to be in Disney Nov. 27-Dec. 5. There are 4 party dates that week...Sunday (29th), Tuesday (1st), Thursday (3rd), and Friday (4th). Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best day of the week to visit the party? Is it recommended to buy tickets ahead of time or is it better to buy the week of the trip to see if any available dates during my week sell out....kind of as a crowd predictor for the evening?

I'm planning on going November 17th, which is a Tuesday, and well before the holidays. Does anyone have an idea on how long I can wait to buy the tickets? If I wait until August or September do you think they'll be sold out?

Relax about the tickets you guys will be fine it will be announced here when they first go on sale!

I bought my november tickets last year the same month so outside of maybe a few days you giys will be fine.

Well update the thread when it happens

Parties typically don't sell out until closer to the party date, if that party sells out at all.
