"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

We will arrive at Disney on the 12th of Dec. Thinking of doing party on 15th. Just me, DD12 and DS16. 1st Christmas visit after several June trips. Already very excited to see the World decked out in holiday cheer!

I've finally picked 12/6 is our party date! this will be my first time going to a Christmas party (usually we are there for Halloween parties) I went with our arrival day for the party so we can just hang out at the resort and get settled in. and I think it will be a great way to start the trip. now if tickets would go on sale and it could be june so I could book dining and P that would be great...

LOL, that is our tentative date too. I'm actually hoping the tickets don't go on sale yet as I have to wait until May for Southwest to release their Dec. schedule and I don't want to buy a party ticket until I have airfare locked in. Also, I'd rather hold on to my money as long as possible!

My best friend and I are going from November 9-15th for my 50th birthday! And we are leaving her teenagers at home. Yay! My birthday is the 10th so I think that's the night I will choose. So excited! This will be my first MVMCP!

We are going for the first time! How exciting :) We will be there from November 14 - 21st. I'm thinking that Tuesday the 17th or Thursday the 19th. Silly question, but do most people find fun outfits to wear to the party? I really want to dress up the kids in Christmas clothes...even though it won't even be Thanksgiving yet!

My husband and I are aiming for november 13th party as our 1st choice and if we can not get that we will do the november 17th one. I am so excited! !! Trying to convince the hubby to where a Christmas related shirt.

We'll be there on Nov. 8 with our other Wine & Diner friends - hopefully, we'll both be rocking our W&D AND Coast-to-Coast bling!!

As far as ugly sweaters go ... for a holiday party two years ago, my husband bought a Christmas-themed adult footed onesie and wore that! I wonder if I can get him to wear it again, but this time out in public!

Wonderful thread! I was initially on the fence as to whether or not it was worth the extra money, but everyone I talk to (IRL and online) who has ever been to MVMCP says it is absolutely worth it. I'm going to try to see if we can swing the Dec. 8 party. Glad they don't seem to sell out too early!

we finally decided to go December 6! this is our arrival day so it gives us the early afternoon to get lunch and settle and then head over to the MK for the late afternoon and night. we have park tickets for that day (since they are 7days the cost for this day was minimal that we didn't mind buying it) so if we get there before 4 or they don't allow us in before the 7pm start time for some reason we would still be okay

Next time you update the list can you put me down for the December 3rd party please?

Will the last party be any busier than the others? It would be our only chance to catch it with the dates we are planning. We love MNSSHP but have never been to MVMCP and would love to attend.

Can you add me to the list for the November 12th party please?

Tickets are supposed to go on sale this month! WOOHOO!!!!! :santa::santa::santa:

This will be my DD's first time going to Disney during the holidays and we were hoping to attend MVMCP but her last day of school, before winter break, is the 18th of December . I guess I never paid attention to the party dates before now but why is there no parties the weekend and/or week leading up to Christmas? I guess I could pull her out of school that day, which would be unexcused but it's only 1st grade, or miss the party which was one of the main reasons for coming to Disney during the holidays. Does the last party usually sell out?

I wouldn't hesitate to have my child miss a day of 1st grade. However, will that be the day of the class Christmas party? Will she be upset at missing out on that? Not likely if she'll be at WDW instead!

My wife and i will be at the party dec 3 or 4, never done this so looking forward to it.
