****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Question of the Day:

What are your breakfast plans? Are you eating in your room, quick service, table service, etc…. ?

One character breakfast with Donald at Tucker's. Other day we go to parks probably cereal or bagels so we can make it for rope drop. Big breakfast on pool/rest days, ie pancakes, eggs, ect. So a mix.

Also, thank you for all the welcomes.:thumbsup2

OK, I'm a little late in joining this thread, but I am here.
We are going to Pop Century May 24-May 29

Here are all the questions I've missed-

What are you Celebrating?
We are celebrating both my parent's birthdays.

Are you a pin collector?
No, but I collect Vinylmations!

What is your first full day plan?
Our first full day is of course, Magic Kingdom. Breakfast at Kona Cafe, spend all day at Magic Kingdom and eat at Columbia Harbor House for lunch. Leave magic Kingdom to eat dinner at 'Ohana and hopefully watch the fireworks there or on the beach at Poly.

What is your favorite place in WDW to have breakfast?
I'd probably say Chef Mickey's, but we are going to try Kona Cafe this vacation.

In order, what are you favorite parks to see?
1 being your favorite, 4 being the last one you will visit.
1. Magic Kingdom
2. Hollywood Studios
3. Epcot
4. Animal Kingdom

Do you have a PTL, PJ, or Pre-Dining Report?
coming soon

Tell us about your favorite experience with a CM at WDW!
There are great CMs out there, The best ones are the ones that go out of there way to celebrate something, like a birthday.

What is your favorite snack in all of WDW?
Dole Whip Float!

What is the first ride/attraction you will go to in Epcot?
Soarin', right before breakfast at Sunshine!

What is your favorite restaurant in DTD?
Earl of Sandwich

What is you favorite viewing place for the following WDW events?
1. Illuminations 2. Wishes 3. Dream Come True Parade
1.Inside the Pub and Crown
2.Inside 'Ohana or Beach at Poly
3.Don't really do parades anymore.

What Resort did you pick and why?
Pop Century, we have been to most of the resorts and are now going with the best value! Plus it has an awesome food court!

What is your #1 Tip for 1st time visitors?
Get to the park for Rope Drop! Waking up may be hard for some of you, but it is worth it! trust me, not only for the event itself but the wait times are awesome!

Will you drive/fly or take the train to WDW?
Fly, we have only driven once, and we are from NJ, so it wasn't the best.

Some of us will eat a breakfast at CBR's food court, the rest (mainly this chik, and 24dd) will be grabbing our java and maybe a light snack to start off the day.

For those of you who are traveling late May have you already gotten your Mickey Mail? I received our cruise documents last week but nothing for our WDW package yet.

We got our paperwork exactly 30 days out! I'm betting you'll get yours soon!:thumbsup2

YAY!!!!! So close!!!! I hope you get some sleep tonight:)

We still have about 24 hours until we leave. Full work day tomorrow. My hubby is off so he will hit the bank and do the last minute errands. Then it's off to the airport hotel and vacation officially begins:cool1:

I'm so excited for everyone leaving in the next few days! Wishing you all a restful last sleep before you leave - I can never sleep the night before!

For breakfast, we are doing Cape May while at the BC, Crystal Palace before park opening, we'll grab something quick the morning we head to SWW and I'm hoping to go to Kona the morning we head home and finally try Tonga Toast. I'll place a Garden Grocer order with breakfast items for our other days.

:cheer2:TWO WEEKS!!!:cheer2:

Wishing all the best to those starting their vacations this weekend! Have safe and magical trips!:goodvibes

The over the top excitement has begun. I am running around the house like a chicken with my head cut off, listening to and singing along with Lion King songs:rotfl:

We're almost packed. I can't stop popping onto the Dis every 5 minutes to post or look at pictures. My camera battery is charging. I am going to *try* to take more pictures this time. I always say that and never do. But I'll try.

Can someone please make it be tomorrow already?:wizard:

One week from right now we will all be sleeping (yes, we're going to bed at 6:00pm the night before!) I know that I will not be sleeping and I will not sleep the entire time I'm there (I never do)... heck, I'm already not sleeping... I get Disney brain too and keep forgetting to do simple things (I swear, going to Disney is like being pregnant all over again!)

To those of you leaving soon, PLEASE report back if the Tree of Life opens... I am SO hoping this is open by the time we go!

We have one TS this vacation, at Chef Mickey's. I plan to grab a cinnamon roll at MK and have tonga toast at least once at Capn Cooks:love:, then maybe just something quick in the room:confused3

I am where you are:cool2:
Whoo hoo!!! I'm with you--one month!!

For those of you who are traveling late May have you already gotten your Mickey Mail? I received our cruise documents last week but nothing for our WDW package yet.
We arrive 5/27 and haven't received anything yet either.

And to those of you who have made it to their WDW vacations this weekend: :dance3: Have a blast!!!!:cheer2:

Got a call this afternoon from our daughter (she and her husband are meeting us at Disney) to tell me she received their Mickey Mail today! I came home and checked our mail and there was our package too! Getting Mickey Mail makes the trip seem closer.

To all of you leaving tomorrow or this weekend, ya'll have tons of fun, take loads of pictures and come back and write trip reports for the rest of us who are still countin' down the days.

Well it's almost time!!!

Do some last minute gathering tomorrow, and early to bed and early to rise Saturday morning to start our drive to POR. We are so looking forward to this week, I sure hope I can sleep!!

2 weeks from tonight we will be snug in our hotel beds preparing for an early rise to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then onto Magic Kingdom!
