****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Question of the Day:
In order, what are you favorite parks to see? 1 being your favorite, 4 being the last one you will visit.

1=Animal Kingdom
1=EPCOT
1=Hollywood Studios
1=Magic Kingdom

Cant choose. I love them all. I cant imagine going to Disney and not spending time at them all. Its like being asked to choose your favorite child:(

WHOO HOO!! Look at all of these ADRS!! I can't wait to put my ADRS in tomorrow!! Wish it was November 8th already! ;)

Like other PPs said, it is very very hard to decide! But I love Epcot/Magic Kingdom equally, LOVE animals (as you can see staying at AKL for honeymoon) and Hollywoods Studios is great too.

But can't go to all of them at the same time! So gotta pick the order :lmao:

I love them all in a different way so I really can't put them in any certain order. We do, however, like to end our vacations with a day at the Magic Kingdom.

It's the same, no matter when we go. :laughing: We love Epcot a lot. We're eating at the restaurants there all week, too. <_< hehehe

Seems like I'm in the minority here:

1. Animal Kingdom
2. Epcot
3. Hollywood Studios (because they have a lot of shows that DD likes and can watch)
4. Magic Kingdom

Wow! Animal Kingdom first. I like your style! :idea:

I could watch the Legend of the Lion King every day....it's just breathtaking and to me just as good as the broadway show.

Plus this trip I'm committed to going down the couple / three different walking exhibits for the different animal paths that we have never done before.

Our touring plan varies, but we usually always go to Epcot first.
Just booked our airfare with JetBlue this morning. Flight prices aren't that great. :headache:

Sounds great! Have you tried Jiko or Boma? We are staing at AKL and I still need to decide between 1. Jike 2. Boma and 3. Sanaa for dinner. Any thoughts on it would be great!

We are planning on:
Mama Melrose (love this place)
Via Napoli
Ohanas
Garden Grill

We have never ate at the last 3 listed but I wanted to ask about the Garden Grill. I'll be 19 on our trip and I'm a total kid at heart, I stand in line for characters while nobody else does (I have a younger brother), but we have never done a character meal. It'll just be me and my parents since my brother will not be with us at that point and I was wondering if anyone has ever done a character meal without kids and if it was awkward?

I know they will most likely hang around the kiddos and that's fine, I was just hoping to get a few pictures here and there and have a good time. So, anybody ever gone to one, did you have fun? Thanks!

We do LOTS of character meals as we have small children, and the characters will visit adults only tables unless the adults don't seem to want it. Last trip we went to 1900 Park Fare for dinner, and were seated next to a nice older couple. You could tell they didn't want characters to come over (weren't looking at them, etc), so none did, except the wicked stepmother, who made it a point to visit them and sit at their table. It was very cute! But I think as you are younger they will stop for sure, especially if you're looking at them and smiling, etc. I loved the character interaction at Garden Grill, I think you'll have a great time!

Hard question, I love all the parks. But I think it would go a little something like this:

1) Hollywood Studios
2) Epcot
3) Magic Kingdom
4) Animal Kingdom

We didn't go to AK at all last trip. There aren't enough rides for my kids, and we're not really big show people. I am looking forward to going to it in May, though. I think we will try Kali River Rapids for the first time!

We have eaten at all three. I like Boma for breakfast over dinner. Jiko was delicious...we sat at the chef's table. Our favorite is Sanaa and we like to eat there on our last night. We just really enjoy the different foods offered at Sanaa. I like spicy foods and you can have them kick it up a notch, LOL! I think if you are looking for a "safer" menu, I would go with Boma as there are a lot of choices.

Thanks! If you don't mind me asking, how do you get the chef's table at Jiko? I think that would be great on our honeymoon!
