Official May 2011 thread!

Ok this is what I thinking so far for us:

25 Arrive late afternoon check in to CBR and hang at the hotel and do Shutters for dinner
26 DTD all day with T-Rex sometime in there
27 Move to POR for free dining and do AK for the day and meeting a group of friends at WCC for dinner
28 HS SWW and Fantasmic Sci-Fi for dinner
29 Epcot Coral Reef for dinner and meet up with a friend for margaritas
30 Water park am and DQ in the pm with Friends for her dd's bday
31 MK with LTT for dinner (still up in the air on this one)
1 Waterpark am and 1900 park fare for lunch then to airport to go home..

There is not a place at MK that I like for a TS.. I may just do CS that day.. Still have a week to decide.. Where does everyone else like to go on their day at MK?

My plans up to this point:

  • 8th- Arrive, POR food court, DTD
  • 9th- MK, Afternoon Parade, 1900 Park Fare for dinner, EMH @ MK, MSEP & Wishes
  • 10th- AK, Boma for dinner, Mini golf
  • 11th- EP, Biergarten for dinner, Illuminations
  • 12th- HS, Mama Melrose's for Fantasmic! dinner package
  • 13th- EP, Akershus for dinner, Boardwalk, EMH @ EP
  • 14th- MK, Contemporary for dinner
  • 15th- Breakfast at O'hana, Depart for home

All of this could change while we are there, but I doubt it. I don't keep to schedules unless I'm on vacation and he always, and I mean always, keeps to schedules. When he comes home on Friday he packs his lunch for Monday. It's his first trip so I'm trying to throw a bit of everything in there. There are some headliners we won't be seeing, so it's actually going to be a lot more relaxing than it seems. I envision a lot of "strolling" through these places.

3leafs: LTT dinner is our favorite meal in all WDW! But then again, thanksgiving is my favorite...you should try it if you haven't done it before :thumbsup2

So far this is the planning I've done, but it might change...

27 - Epcot (late EMH), La Hacienda
28 - AK (early EMH), Yack'n'Yetti
29 - MK (late EMH), O'hana
30 - HS (late EMH), 50's Prime Time
31 - Epcot(?), Artist Point or Narcoossee's
1 - MK, Tony's or Liberty Tree
2 - AK, Saana
3 - HS, undecided
4 - last day, flight home

I don't plan to stay at those parks all day, but I figured I'd take advantage of the EMH and plan the TS credits around those. I'm starting to lean more towards Artist Point and Tony's, but who knows

My only problem is... I don't eat poultry, beef, or pork... :lmao: Most places have fish but I dont' see any on the menu

I did see CP now has Character dining for dinner! I may try that then.. It was in an updated for allears menus. Maybe they have always had characters for dinner but I didn't think so.. Although I could be wrong. This will also save me from having to stand in line to see pooh. :lmao:

T, they had characters at dinner when we were there in 07, so I THINK they always had them. I liked CP fairly well, but I think my preference is to hit a monorail resort for dinner at MK. We haven't done LTT yet, doing that one next month. How did I not know that you don't eat poultry, pork or beef?!?

I do every once in a blue moon but not very often...

Okay, here are my tentative plans,
5/26 room only at pop, late arrival
5/27 MK during the day, lunch possibly Kona, then meeting friends at WCC that evening, possible Epcot EMH after...
5/28 HS, still debating doing F! dinner package or just winging it there.
5/29 Epcot, breakfast at Akershus, lunch at Le Cellier, dinner Coral Reef.
5/30 AK in the morning, DQ in the pm with friends.
5/31 MK EMH am, maybe DTD before leaving in the afternoon for home.
