I second the question...Star Wars weekend this May? Anyone?

I don't think they have officially been announced yet, but Star Tours is set to re-open May 20th. It would make sense (and I think I read this somewhere) that the first SWW would coincide with that. Although, don't hold me to this completely. I haven't been following SWW info as we are going the first weekend of May and it doesn't affect us.

Hey Y'all!

We've got a trip planned for the third week of May. I'm about to drive my family nuts with planning excitement and thought I'd better start posting here where the Joy of Planning is understood!

This will be the first time we're driving to WDW (from Indianapolis). I'm planning this trip for my Wife, Daughter (19) and Parents. We are staying off property for the first time too, in a Villa rental in Kissimmee (well reviewed, very close). I've got our days scheduled and a few ADR's. We wanted to stay again at Wilderness lodge but couldn't justify the cost for all five of us. Staying off property is going to save us 2/3's in lodging. To make up for it, we're planning a resort hopping day (Lunch resies at Whispering Canyon) to soak up the atmosphere. This will also be one of our longest trips to WDW - 8 days, 7 nights!

Anyway, if anyone else is trapped inside today, keep warm, and warm Disney wishes to you!

We are going!!! We originally Booked for June 2nd to 9th but had to change it due to scheduling conflicts so now we are going on May 15th to 22nd! Staying at SSR in a 2BR villa, there will be 5 of us total, MIL and SIL/BIL are going with DH and I.

We are going on 23rd May for 2 weeks staying at Fantasy World Resort Kissimmee, Me, DP and DD7

I originally started planning to go in Feb as I am 40 on 22nd but then decided that May would be much better. I want to experience the water parks as well as the others.

This is our first trip to Florida and I am so excited.

Anyone know when Star Wars Weekend is this year? Its usually in May, right?

They were announced today on the Disney Parks Blog. The dates are May 20 - June 12.

leaving may 20th for our first trip ever to wdw. yea i cant wait. counting down the days, already have trip paid for and im buying little things as we go. need help on what to pack and what to buy at walmart once we get there

We are FL bound...our total trip will consist of 13 days. We are staying @ Sheraton Vistana Resort for the first 8/9 days, then checking in to RPR on Sunday, 22nd.
I don't know what I am more excited about: Discovery Cove or Harry Potter!

I am traveling with my Sister in Law for our first *no kids/no husbands/no worries* trip to Disney, May 20th to 25th.
We are splurging on ourselves (like all moms deserve to do) with a stay at the Beach Club & Deluxe Dining!
This trip cannot come fast enough after the winter we have ALL experienced!
