Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

I am so excited! It will be my first time staying at a Disney resort of any kind. It will also be my first character dining and vacation away from the parents since I was young. I feel like Im 5, just like on those Disney commercials where the parents turn into kids.

Leave Nj on April 30th and staying at POR may 2nd-9th!!!!

Yeay! So excited! We made it under the 50 day mark last friday!! I forgot to mention where we were staying in my first post. We will be at Coronado Springs again!! Now I just have to get through finals and all that good stuff, so we can gooo!!

We got our packet with the luggage tags in the mail today!! We check in on May 3rd, it's getting so close now!

We are leaving on the 3rd and mom/dad got their packet today. Mine should be right behind!! It had the hard luggage tags the Planet Hollywood voucher, one for the aracde and more. Can't wait to see my Mickey Mail.

Since the boys don't know about it it's so hard b/c it's all I want to talk about all the time.

Going May 2 - 6 to celebrate niece's 15th bday. Just booked it a few days ago!

Of course, I'm just using niece's bday as an excuse to go back. I was there in mid-March and LOVED it!!

Hopefully, I'll be getting Mickey Mail soon.

We are not flying and got our packet last night. Luggage tags, vouchers, etc. My DS-10 nearly had a panic attack! We are staying at the FW cabins for the first time. Looking forward to the extra space and full kitchen.

Good thing my mail comes when the oldest 2 are not here. I will be so excited when mine gets here that I will want to look at every thing.

I'll be honest my almost 5 yr old is so clueless some times he can look at it and it means nothing. He has a hard time understanding "time" I think mostly b/c he is here w/ me so he don't have the same reference than if he had school 2 days a week or something. I try not to tell him much abuot going places b/c every day he thinks "that day" (even if it's 2 wks from now) is today. He asks me every day if he is 5 yet and we have get to May till that happens. Now that I think about it I'l put some stickers on the calender for him (just not the mickey one)

BTW as of tomorrow we can start saying Next Month!!

Yay

I just got my packet today. Went out in the rain to get the mail just to see if it was there-and it was!

Then I went to open the envelope-it is wide open-not sealed at all.
I checked and everything is there-whew.

Our check in date is May 3rd, I can't wait-still getting snow here. At least it is melting fast. Now I just have to try on my summer clothes and hope they fit. I think I will be dieting until we leave.

We are going from May 8th - May 13th staying at the All Sports. My son is coming back from Kuwait and my other son will be going to Iraq a week after our trip. Both of my 22 and 24 sons 1st time at disney. We are having a family get together to celebrate.

My brother, sister, a mutual friend and myself (ages 19-24) are going May 16-26th and staying at Pop Century. We can't wait! It's our first trip together just the siblings and will be most of our 3rd or 4th time to Disney.

although a big dispointing as it was only a small thing as we aren't flying, still exciting to get.

And ok, I must admitt....I totally cried. I actually cried over it. I just started thinking that I actually get to take my 4 year old with me this time. My own child gets to go to Disney, it is just so awesome to think about....sorry to get all motherly on ya but it is a totally different feeling to take your child!
