Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

We'll be arriving there exactly 5 weeks from today! If that isn't great enough DH told me yesterday he wants the two of us to go fly down for a weekend for the free dining/food & wine fest at the end of Sept!

Been off the boards for a few days and man o man have I missed you guys! Ony fellow dissers understand the fix we get only from our trips to disney! Yes, I can say it now, next month we go to the WORLD!

I can offically say we are leaving this month

Our actuall stay at Disney is May 2nd to the 9th, BUT we start our drive on APril 30th, so technically we leave this month.. ANYWAY thats my story and Im sticking to it

Finally I can say we're leaving NEXT month!! I'm so excited. Every morning my boyfriend and I wake up and announce the countdown. We've been counting since December and it's almost here!!!

Yeah! Received a tax refund after all.

Little guy's turning 4 on May 1. We're staying at CBR, our first stay at a moderate...we reserved a pirate room, and I think he's going to love it!

Only hiccup is he wants to share his birthday cake with Mickey...if anyone will be canceling a Mickey character meal for May 1, PLEASE PM me!This includes, Chef Mickey's, O'hana breakfast, Garden Grill dinner, and something at AK--not sure!

Doing the happy dance DH got his bonus today that we were coounting on for the food, gas, and extra. Now the trip is really paid for

Mixed emotion: should we really go? Planning this trip for the last 5 years and def planning for the past year. Found out last month DS2 has a cardio and respirtatory problem. This problem requires surgery; we scheduled surgery today for June. But, you can see the raise in their eyes when I say we are going the DW before surgery. In my eyes he was born with this and all three doctors have said at one time or another he was born with this we have time.

I told DH that I think WDW is a great family bonder and a stress reliever. And its not like we can plan this after his surgery with DD's summer semester and than fall semester for both her and DS16.

So, again I say I'm doing the happy dance, our trip is a month away and I can actually say IT IS PAID FOR

longingtoBatDisney so sorry to hear about your son and the surgery. You know your son and his medical history. I am sure you will do every thing you need to keep him safe while ther before the surgery. Relax and enjoy your trip. Sending pixie dust for him and your family
