Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

Is anyone else going to be at CBR at that time. We got a Pirate room and I am Psyched.

We will be at Cbr in a pirate room also. But we will be there from May 8th-15th. Also, have all my adr's. Got everything i wanted.

Was able to book all that we wanted Chefs de France,Turf Club Bar & Grill,Grand Floridian Cafe,Tuto Italia and Kona Cafe. Kona and Tuto Italia will be our first time there. Hoping to gain a couple of pounds.

Well, I can be removed from the May list. Due to work, I had to reschedule for August. Ugggghhhh! But, at least, I was able to take advantage of the extended buy 4/get 3 free promo and saved an additional $300.00.

May 14 -22 @ OKW here. Will be me, DW, 2 DS, DD and 4 DS friends for an early graduation gift. You will probably find me camped out @ the Margarita Bar next to Capt Jacks.

We are going May 8-May 17, celebrating Mother's Day on the 10th and my birthday on the 11th. This will be the longest trip we have taken in many years, so it should prove to be a real adventure.

I am sure many of you have seen this but my DH was on Google Earth this morning taking us around DisneyWorld. It was so awesome looking at everything! If you haven't already, check it out!!! It was fun!

Of course, by doing this he got the kids (o.k.... and me too )all worked up and we still have 86 days to go!!!

Yeah! It's disappointing that I have to wait longer but, then again, we are still going. We're going to take one of the tours with the $300.00 we saved. Now, I just have to find one that our 12 year old can do.

Been there and done that for the last 10 years. The crowds do get pretty bad by late morning. We have seen wait times of 120 minutes for the most popular attractions. Make sure that you get Fastpasses as early as you can (and as soon as you can when you already have another Fastpass). I remember there being no more Fastpasses for Soarin, Mission Space and Test Track by Noon.

Well, we've stayed at the CBR three years in a row and want to try something new. We had family members who were going with us and they needed to stay in a value resort but they had to cancel (before we changed our dates). We really like the look of Pop Century so we'll probably stick with that and use the extra $300.00 to do a tour or see Cirque again. I have no doubt that we'll go back to the CBR one day.

We loved POP! I had recalled reading abt the change in your resort..smart move! What is nice abt POP is the walkway around the "lake"...great food court and I love the 60's pool area!

I'm still a bit concerned about a value resort but I am sure we'll be okay. I can remember when we first planned a stay at the CBR and I worried about staying there too. I am just very excited about saving even more money than our original May dates. I can definitely find a way to spend that extra $300.00.
