Last year on may 15 th I hosted a big charity benefit BBQ and we had the most gorgeous weather and it stayed after that!!

Also, I put in an order for good weather along with my verandah, so I am sure we will get it!

F&A, how did you reserve the DCL shuttle to the port? I thought those were only if you stayed at certain hotels?

Hotel has free shuttle to and from the airport. Then using DCL shuttle.

Went on the Mexican Riviera cruise on Jan 23, the deck 7 laundry machine had issues. Hopefully the fix them. I used the deck 6 ones instead. You swipe your room key to pay. Recommend bring your own detergent. Tide has a travel size and there even is a dry pack you can buy to avoid more liquids.

How were you able to reserve DCL shuttle? I thought you can only get that if you stay at the Fairmont? I'm staying at the Radisson & would like to get the DCL shuttle too.

If anyone is staying at the downtown vancouver hotels (the Pan/Waterfront/Pac Rim) - do not buy the shuttle passes - for some reason disney is selling them to these people! You don't need a shuttle or a cab from these places! They are 'at' the port.

littleprince - you can phone and add on the transfers - you probably just have to get yourself to the pick up location - you might be better to just hop in a cab!

Thanks for this information. After getting your info earlier, my plan is to use my feet to get from the hotel to the port.

I am flying in the day before and using the Disney transfer from airport to the Waterfront . The next morning, I am just going to drag my bag to the entrance. I just could not see paying the Disney $19 transfer when I am already at the port.

Do you think it's better to stay downtown Vancouver or Richmond? Is it easy to get to the attractions from Richmond without a car?

There is skytrain service available from the Vancouver Airport thru Richmond to downtown Vancouver Waterfront Station (approx 25 mins) It is called the Canada Line and schedules and fares are available on the translink website Depending on the size of your group, arrival times, amt of luggage etc it is an easy option for transfers between YVR & downtown.
I cant post the link (not enough posts) but start with translink vancouver, skytrain, Canada line.

It's totally not too late. We set our FE cutoff date for May 1 at 11:59 PM. What I'll need from you (on here or PM) is the following information for each state room: Names, Ages/Relation, State Room #, Dining Time, and any celebrations.

I would like to be included in the FE fun, please. I am not comfortable posting my personal information on the Boards where anyone and everyone can see it. As for the information needed, I will PM everyone doing FE the full list above. As for what I am okay with sharing online:
- Only I will be participating, not my DH.
- We are first seating.
- We are celebrating my birthday as well as my being healthy for 1 year (knock on wood) as I was in and out of the hospital twice last year and on leave from work for 4 months. This cruise takes place both over my birthday (5/22) and during the time of my hospital stay last year ... yep, was in there on my birthday --- so lots to celebrate!

Yes. Each state room gets two (2) Wave phones for their use for free. When doing online check in, there is a section to agree to the use of them. If your state room wants another phone, there is a cost beyond the two. They will be in your state room when you arrive.

This will allow you to easily view the list when preparing your FE gifts and when you distribute them! There are bits of information that are missing, like Lollipop's Mom state room number, but we can play that by ear.
