***Official March 2021 Thread***

We're getting ready to book a trip for 2/28 - 3/5 at POP. We'd go to the parks for 4 full days Mon 3/1 - Thu 3/4 and a half day on Fri 3/5. Are there days that are more ideal than others to visit certain parks? I apologize if this has already been posted, but do appreciate your help!
We will be at WDW the same days as you will be. :) We always avoid Magic Kingdom on Mondays because it is usually one of their busiest days. Everyone wants to start their trip at MK. (except us ;)

I was recently told about a website that alerts you of openings and was able to get Cinderella's Royal Table reservation at a better time using it!
(It keeps getting blocked when I type the site though. But it's called "mouse dining")
Good luck!!
I've had much better success with the Touring Plans ADR finder than Mouse Dining. Just FYI! :)

I always like seeing everyone's plans/itinerary, so thought I would share mine too :). I normally wouldn't make this many TS reservations, but the lack of options and potential for super busy QS over Spring Break had me a bit nervous. We don't do well when hangry LOL

Thurs - arrival day @ CBR, dinner at Topolino's
Fri - MK, lunch at Skipper Canteen and DS in evening, dinner at Wine Bar George
Sat - DHS, reservations at Savi's and Oga's, probably Epcot in evening and dinner at F&G booths
Sun - AK, dinner at Sanaa
Mon - DHS, lunch at Beaches & Cream and dinner at Epcot or DS, TBD
Tues - DHS / Epcot - dinner at Rose & Crown
Wed - MK, dinner at CRT
Thurs - check out and drive to Clearwater Beach

We just planned a last minute Disney Vacation, Im so excited to go back. We are stayng at BCV for the first time March 12-16. 2 Adults 3 Kids 10,12,17 Dining seems so hard to get. I want Ogas, BOG or CRT and no luck at all. Im so thankful for these threads, you all are always a Big Help with advice.

For ADR's I have, what do you think ?

3/12 - early arrival at Resort - Via Vapoli for lunch Chefs de France Dinner (have never been to Chef's)
3/13 - HS - 50's Prime Time (Want Sci-Fi) lunch and HBD Dinner (On the Fence about switching to Hollywood and Vine for Characters)
3/14 - MK - 7:50am Wave Breakfast (daughter LOVES) Narcoossees Dinner
3/15 - AK - Yak and Yeti Lunch - Cali Grill Dinner (not sure on this one)
3/16 - Would love Breakfast somewhere before departing

I noticed this morning that the month of March has its first yellow day on the reservation calendar :guilty: HS is unavailable for Tues, March 16!
I think that’s going to be a very busy week. That’s our spring break and that is when we are going. I’m hoping for the best but the first yellow day (not even a weekend day at that) confirms my fears a bit.

I am surprised it is a weekday too! Especially a Tues! I was honestly expecting the end of March to fill faster than the middle of March, but I guess I was wrong.

Great choices! You can’t go wrong with Cali Grill!

Hello. We are so exited. Our dates are March 14-17 Universal's Cabana Bay with Volcano Bay View and March 17-23 Art Of Animations Lion King Suite. Yay!!!!

I see reports of people going to other resorts for better QS. Wondering what is your favorite resort for QS? We are staying at CSR and I know the QS offerings are slim and we are not really fancy dinner people.

Staying at POP the 10th-17th. We were scheduled last June but..ya know. This trip has been years in the making. Dh kept saying we can't afford it until I finally said I was booking it whether he thought we could or not (he's an uber budgeter). He knew I was right. My son graduates this year so I wasn't postponing another year. I am excited about going but the masks and lack of fireworks/character interactions is a bit of a bummer.

YIKES! I'm also shocked its a Tuesday of all days. Hoping the last full week of March doesn't fill to capacity. But that's the main reason we have two HS park reservations in case it does, we have a second shot at getting boarding passes for RotR.

Hoping someone will be able to help you out. I've not eaten at other resorts for QS all that much so I don't havew suggestions.

Capt Cooks at the Polynesian is a favorite of ours. Right now since the Tiki Terrace is closed next door there’s some really nice outdoor seating as well (more of it anyway)

I’ve heard that Riviera’s QS is really good but I haven’t personally eaten there yet.

Well, we told the kids. So at the moment we're going. We also told them that if for any reason we feel it's best not to travel, we may still cancel. It would be disappointing but they are old enough to understand.

So our plans right now...
Tues, 16th - arrival. Driving in from a few days at Hilton Head so we will get there early afternoon and go straight to Epcot
Wed, 17th - MK... Currently have breakfast and lunch reservations at The Wave. We're waiting to see what happens with hours to decide what to do with these.
Thur, 18th - HS... Have a 7:55 reservation at Trattoria al Forno. Thinking we can drive there and park for breakfast so that we can then walk to HS. Again, may cancel depending on what happens with park hours.
Fri, 19th -AK.. 3:45 reservations at Yak and Yeti
Sat, 20th - HS... we're checking out this day but when they had the add 2 park day promotion, it was cheaper for us to add the 5th ticket. We may or may not go. We would want to leave Florida by mid-afternoon to start the head home so my guess is that we would probably only use it if we got an early RoTR boarding group.

So that's the plan. I'm really nervous about crowds that week but I'm trying to keep in mind that it will still be limited capacity. As a family we've agreed that it's going to be a very go with the flow trip. We're early birds/rope drop people when it comes to the parks so hopefully that strategy continues to work well for us.

See you at MK Wednesday am!

That's funny because we were actually going to start off at MK, but since we're arriving to Orlando at 11:17p on Sunday, we decided to start at Epcot since it opens the latest:

Sun - Arriving at 11:17p, staying at POP
Mon - Epcot
Tue - DHS (Sci Fi for lunch)
Wed - MK
Thu - AK (Maybe get a hopper this day to go back to Epcot to check out the F&G festival)
Fri - MK half day before flying out at 5p

Are we able to upgrade 1 of our 1 day tickets to a hopper?

You scared me and I had to check my week (Mar 8-12). I am still waiting for work confirmation of my time off request. Once that comes through then I will buy my kidlets their tickets and make park reservations. I was waiting because I didn't want to be stuck with tickets.
