***Official March 2021 Thread***

We're getting ready to book a trip for 2/28 - 3/5 at POP. We'd go to the parks for 4 full days Mon 3/1 - Thu 3/4 and a half day on Fri 3/5. Are there days that are more ideal than others to visit certain parks? I apologize if this has already been posted, but do appreciate your help!

Hi all... haven't been on the boards for a while so just found this.

We're currently booked March 16-20 at the towers at CSR. I've made a few dining reservations as well as a Savi's and droid reservation.

We still aren't 100% sure we're going on the trip. Some days I'm all in, some days I think we should wait. This is rescheduled from June and if we don't go now, I'm not sure when we will be able to fit it in! Looking forward to chatting and making decisions!

ETA: We've also never been during spring break and I know that capacity is limited but navigating in a busier time without the typical plan with FP+ and all that is adding to my trepidation about going.

You are in the same mindset I was in December for our January trip. I was back and forth but we ended up going. I am glad we did because we had the best time!

We are also going for Spring Break the week before you. My little don't know yet and I want it to be a surprise. I have 1 ADR and reservations for Savi and Droid Depot.

Thanks for the input. I feel like we probably will really have a great time so I’m leaning towards going.
My kids are older (16&12) but we haven’t told them yet either because we’ve already cancelled two trips and I didn’t want yet another disappointment if we weren’t going. I told DH that next weekend we need to make a decision and commit to it then tell the kids if we’re going because both the kids will need some warm weather clothes and I need time to get that all in line.

Add us to the list! Short 4-night split (3/13-3/17) between Poly & Bay Lake. First time staying at both resorts... We have a longer stay this summer, but it is way too far away so we are sneaking this one in!

Got you added to the list.

I went ahead and added you to the list. If things change once you book let me know and I'll update the info.
I know in the past, I had always read there are better days than others to visit each park but so many of them don't say the same thing. Some will say don't visit MK on Sundays and some will say don't visit on Monday and Friday. Of course we have MK booked for Monday and Friday of our trip :rotfl2:. In today's times I think its hard to know which is better on what days. However I would not do HS on the weekends just because it's seems to already be the fullest and with the locals going on the weekend as well it gets busier from what I've read.

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY! Got another SW change and backed up our arrival to March 6. Our arrival date will not be a park day. Flight is at 2:20pm so it will be a nice relaxing travel day. We now have 6 full days in the park!

WOO HOO :cheer2:

What are the must dos at the park with a two year old and which parks are the best. He loves Toy Story so HS is a must but we haven't been in six years since our honeymoon so we are looking for ideas. Any and all will help
Took my daughter for the first time at 2 1/2 and it was literally magical. So corny but so true. It made it so special for all of us. Try to take a boat ride over to MK and see the look on his face when he sees the castle and everything from the water. We were staying at Wilderness Lodge at the time so it was pretty cool. Honestly, it was just cool walking around and seeing their face with all the sights.

You can add us to the list. We have finally made the decision to go after going back & forth a lot. Our dates are 3/5-3/13 and we are staying offsite at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace since I had enough points for a free stay. This is our first trip to DW. We live in Oregon and do DL once or twice a year. We are excited to go to Florida. I’m still deciding which park for each day but we are planning 5 park days. I have snagged some dining reservations that we wanted but I didn’t want to tie up our parks days with too much. 🏰

I have heard people say that HS is always busy so you may as well go on a weekend day because it doesn’t make that much difference. Who knows?

I agree about it being a magical age. My oldest son adn my dd were 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 for their first visits and it was so awesome so see the magic through their eyes.

Getting so close!

I feel under prepared compared to past trips. Usually I have a binder full of plans... not so much this time!

Here are our plans:
Sunday - arrival day, swimming and maybe Disney Springs for dinner
Monday - MK - lunch at Tony's Town Square
Tuesday - HS
Wednesday- breakfast at Chef Mickeys - Epcot (we love flower & garden SO PUMPED to be there when it starts)
Thursday - AK
Friday - MK - dinner at Cinderella Royal Table 👑 this will be a surprise for our little birthday girl, and will be such a magical end to the trip!
Saturday - head home

I keep having doubts about if we should be going with everything going on. But at the same time we really need a hefty dose of happiness and magic.

It's official, we're set for 2/28 - 3/5 at POP. I think our tentative plan is similar to yours, @a_ashbiez:

Sunday - We arrive late at night.
Monday - MK
Tuesday - DHS; lunch at Sci-Fi
Wednesday - Epcot
Thursday - AK
Friday - MK for half day before flying home.

It's going to be a busy trip, but I can't wait. We were APs for DL, so we need to get our fix!

Staying at POP the 10th-17th. We were scheduled last June but..ya know. This trip has been years in the making. Dh kept saying we can't afford it until I finally said I was booking it whether he thought we could or not (he's an uber budgeter). He knew I was right. My son graduates this year so I wasn't postponing another year. I am excited about going but the masks and lack of fireworks/character interactions is a bit of a bummer.

We are paying the price for a last minute trip. We booked at 43 days out and ADRs are not looking good. We really wanted Chef Mickeys. I’m wondering how the waitlist works.

I have a 9am CM 3/17 that I will probably cancel this week. Don't know if that works for you? Otherwise use the dining alerts, I had great luck with alerts in December.

I was recently told about a website that alerts you of openings and was able to get Cinderella's Royal Table reservation at a better time using it!
(It keeps getting blocked when I type the site though. But it's called "mouse dining")
Good luck!!

We ended up renting points and will now be staying at SSR... this will be our first time staying there.

Ya we gave up after the 2nd cancellation on the countdown calendar. It felt silly to reset and do it all over again, plus it made all of us depressed. So I feel you on holding off.
