**Official March 2017 Thread**

I've already began doing some research for our Orlando trip next year. We want to do three days at Universal and either a day at Legoland or a day at Sea World. I may have to squeeze a little Disney in that trip .

We are basically doing this. My daughter wants to go to Discovery Cove this trip. Included in the Discovery Cove tix were a 14 day ticket to SeaWorld and Aquatica. We decided to spend our first 3 nights outside of Disney and do these parks. We will then go to Disney for 7 nights. Im almost glad it worked out this way because the price for Disney in March is a lot higher than our usual May, Sept or Oct. 7 nights at Yacht Club in March was a tad more expensive than 10 nights at the Poly a year and a half ago - Late September.

Why is everyone is pants and jackets ?????????
I just showed DH this. He said he refuses to pack pants and jackets!! Which will be impossible because we are driving and it will be 30 degrees when we leave so I doubt he will be wearing shorts!!:rotfl:If anyone is staying at the poly, that will be him in the laundry room every night washing those same pants!!

I'm glad I had my jeans, sneakers and fleece jacket I flew down in.
Had to purchase a hoodie for my college girl that's says it won't be cold

Thanks
Crowds all week have been very manageable much lower than last year. However last years DD's Spring Break feel on the week leading up to Easter.

We are staying off-site, so can't run back to the room, but it's the "pants and shorts" issue that I'm running into, can't really convert those to a jacket LOL!
Capris. They pair well with both tees and sweatshirts. :) They're my go-to in "winter" months at WDW.

Does anyone think week of 03/26 is going to be super crowded. Calendars indicate they will be, but I cant think of why. Spring break is mostly over for colleges and Easter is so late this year. Is that a popular week for schools to be out. Where I am from, our kids dont get March vacation. We get Presidents week in Feb. and Patriots week in April, which this year will be Easter week.

It is Spring Break for many kids where I live (TN) and some dance/cheer competitions are still going on aren't they?

I'm reading a thread on another forum. Someone is claiming that taking photographs of your food is rude even though you're not using a flash. Having been here on disboards for several years, it seems strange that anyone could think that. :)
Who is saying this, someone who was at Disney and didn't like others taking pics of their food?
It was a poster on a (non-Disney) cruise-related forum.

Some pics to warm up my friends up North

I'm getting to the point where I don't really appreciate the topiaries anymore. It seems too "easy" now, with metal frames and all the apparently glued-on adornments. They seem more like they're for a Tournament of Roses parade float rather than topiaries, which by definition is just the clipping of shrubs and trees into ornamental shapes. While we've made the decision to continue visiting WDW, we're going back to our old Fall-Winter-Fall arrangement rather than Spring-Fall-Spring. We'll probably hit the F&W festival (just because that's unavoidable in Fall) but miss the F&G show going forward.

I am looking forward to a slow Epcot day with late arrival to just do the World Showcase. I am planning on eating my way aroundo the World with the food carts. Thanks for the photos and I still love the topiaries

:grouphug: Gosh y'all are swell :cutie:

Thanks for all the reencouragment. We are home now, resting. I attached a picture of him with his cool cast, he wants to show off.
well now he can have the characters sign his cast! That is a cool memento.

Question:

We leave in 2 days. I'm looking at the 10-day forecast and I'm having a lot of trouble packing. Daytime, no issue. Highs in the high 70's/low 80's but the Evening is my issue... mid to low 50's. I find that chilly in shorts/skirt/capris especially for my super skinny no meat on bones children. Advice??

For those of you who are there or just got back... What does the weather feel like???

I worry too much, but after the week I had...

Thanks!!! I have to finish packing tomorrow :)

We will be there the same time! We leave Friday afternoon!
We live about 2 hours north of WDW, it can get chilly for us at night. So to answer your question, I am wearing shorts and a t-shirt for the daytime, then I am packing my long leggings and a button up long sleeve flannel shirt in the diaper bag. Same thing for the kiddos. Luckily for us we take a stroller and diaper bag, so we have a place to lug it around.
