This has already been one of the snowiest winters in Indiana that I can remember. I cannot wait to enjoy some FL sunshine!!! I want to talk about it with my girls so they can be excited too, but we still haven't told them. Planning to tell them on Valentine's Day! Then they can share in the excitement and planning!

So, so cold here!!! We're feeling "done" with winter. DH is tired of snow plowing, I'm just tired of the cold and the dreariness. A little over 2 months until we get to enjoy the tropical lushness of the Poly!!!

we have the same countdown days!!! well we won't be at WDW until the 29th, but leaving for our trip the same day!

Aren't ya just lovin' this Winter? As a yearly (almost) WDW visitor in March, one of the benefits to me is how the anticipation of a March landing in MCO allows me to laugh in the face of a harsh Pa. Winter. We already lost one school day to snow and had a 5 in. dusting this morning, but who cares? In 40 days 7 hrs. 26 mins. 34 secs, not that I'm counting, we'll be 'suffering' in 70 + degree heat, birds chirping, green foliage everywhere. See ya there!

I'm ready for Spring! (and Disney!) I thought we were supposed to have a mild winter this year... its been anything but. Kids have had at least one day off (I'm losing track. lol.) And a couple of delays. We've never been to Disney in March, and it is definitely a light at the end of this wintry tunnel!

Looks like we'll be counting down through the same dreary PA days, Bill. We're just a day off in our tickers!

Feeling the pain of winter here too. March can't come soon enough!! Anything above 40 will seem balmy to us! We haven't seen a temp above 30 in about a month! I'm a hearty native Minnesotan, but this is ridiculous!!
Sad thing is, even after we get back, there will most likely still be 3 feet of snow on the ground!!

It is soooooo cold today, temp might drop below zero tonight. We went to Great Wolf Lodge this weekend which was nice, but I'm ready for our much longer Disney trip!

Alright I have a question. DH and I are supposed to be going to WDW in March. We've had the room booked for months. We are DVC and we were able to snag a club level studion at AKL so we are super happy about that. We are still up in the air about being able to go its looking better and better everyday. But I am not really making any ADRs because I don't want to get too excited. I made 3 and I booked and paid for the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Should I make more ADRs to be safe? We went around the same time last year and we were able to get a walk up at Tonys. We have the club level offerings to help if we can't and just have to grab a quick service but I know we can't make meals from that.

I keep over thinking it I think. Please tell me it will be alright.

You'll be fine. It will be alright! You can eat at CS and the club anytime. If you feel like there's a TS place you might really want that you don't already have, book it. You can always cancel it later. I say it's better to have it and cancel than to not have it and wish you had it.

We will be at AKL - Jambo for our first DVC stay (if you don't count the one night at SSR first). No club level for us, but am so looking forward to it.

Another Minnesotan checking in. Heat wave~~made it to the 'teens today! Can't wait to see green grass (getting tired of having to look at golf on TV to see a little color, lol). Looking forward to POR! We have a late afternoon flight, and so will be arriving about 8:30 p.m. I'm just tickled that MK has EMH that Sunday evening, and is OPEN til 2 a.m.!

March 2-6 here... My 16 year old daughter has a school trip to WDW during that time, so my husband and I are taking my 11 year old son.

He's always wanted a surprise trip and this time, we're gonna do it! Usually I plan so far in advance that there would be NO WAY to keep the surprise.

Hopefully I can keep it to myself for 5 weeks!

This Michigan gal is seriously pondering never coming home from our trip. I hate winter just a little more with each passing year, and this one has been a doozy. Three snow days so far... I think that's the most we've had in a single school year in the 7 years I've had school aged kids, and winter isn't even half over yet.

March can't come soon enough! 36 days, 3 hours, and 32 minutes until I'm boarding the airport monorail and getting my first breath of that nice, warm Floridan air.

We have 39 days and I have my grandaughters bag all packed and ready to go mine isn't packed yet because I am still losing weight so I need to wait until we are a little closer so hopeully I will fit into one or two more sizes smaller. I hope everyone has an awesome trip!!!
