Anybody started packing yet?

Of course! It isn't like we're going to have much call for sandals and capris here at home in the next 5 weeks! I'm not packing so much as throwing trip stuff into a suitcase to set it aside right now. It'll all have to be emptied out and repacked more neatly, but it keeps everything in one place so that I'm not hunting down a missing sandal or mislaid autograph book at the last minute.

Anybody started packing yet?

DS is. We were out of town for 1 night about two weeks ago and I was looking for socks and underwear for him in clean laundry basket because I knew I had just seen some in there. When I asked him about it, I was told that it is all in his suitcase in his room. I am not sure how to break it to him that the suitcase he wants to use (from when he was around preschool age) probably is not large enough for a weeks vacation now that he is a teenager. Maybe I need some to make it all fit.

We did start thinking about what we are packing. DH will be wearing an assortment of Saints jerseys the entire time we are there. DS will be wearing his two jerseys, a Mardi Gras tshirt and we will fill in with misc. shirts. I have two pair of scrubs and some legging like knit pants all ready to go.

us too, well we will get to WDW 3 days after, since we are going to GA first to visit family friends!

I have started putting odds and ends in my box!!!

made all my invitation cards for DD surprises while there!

Haven't started the suitcases, yet. But, been sorting through the warm-weather clothing, and deciding what gets taken. New swimsuit ordered,, and when that arrives, I do plan to get them out, and get down to business. Have been working on my 'odds and ends' already: travel sized items, quarters, and products to do laundry. Writing up a shopping list in case we decide to use Garden Grocer. Anybody know if DISTILLED WATER is available in the resort gift shops? So many people use CPAPs now, I'd think so, but last trip we had a rental car and made our own grocery/supply run.

Oh my gosh! You guys are all so prepared!!! I'm so far behind!!!
I'm usually a planner extraordinaire when it comes t trips. But, I went back to school this year (on top of full time work and the kids) and I've barely been able to get our trip scheduled!

What kind of a DISer am I?

March 2-6 here... My 16 year old daughter has a school trip to WDW during that time, so my husband and I are taking my 11 year old son.

He's always wanted a surprise trip and this time, we're gonna do it! Usually I plan so far in advance that there would be NO WAY to keep the surprise.

Hopefully I can keep it to myself for 5 weeks!

What kind of school trip? We did a trip for choir and band when I was in high school...

I havent started formally packing either. I have the suitcase out though, and every time I see something or think if something I need to bring, I toss it in.

Not packing but we are going to BLT the from the 19th to 26th. I feel so behind! Haven't even thought of packing yet. It is going to be an adventure this year since it is our first DVC trip!!

35 days!!

Just ordered our mouse ears and surpise supplies for our son tonight! He's highly geared up for Disney because I've been Disneyfying him here these last few months. But he still thinks he's going in 2012 with my FIL (he is then too, but this trip is a total surprise)

He told me just tonight "I wish next year could get here so I could go to Disney!"

Little guy doesn't realize just how close "next year" really is!

2) ice cream from the truck that is near expedition Everest. How does it get so marsh-mellow-ey. YUM
3) Staying at the Beach Club, first time being that close to Epcot.
4) Spring Training games
5) not being at work.

Welcome to the thread! And enoy your first trip to DisneyWorld!! (be sure to stop by Guest Services at any of the parks and pick up buttons that say "First Time Visitor" and wear them. You will be surprised at all the comments you get from cast members - and maybe some perks too!

WL is our DVC home resort and we can't wait to get back. We just love it! We're also excited to try AKL. It will be out first time there. Hoping to get a studio with a good view.

Well its official we are definatly going!!! We don't even have to take off the 6th at WLV!! I haven't bought airfare but I will be doing so by Monday! I am so excited!! We will be adding the DxDDP for our one night at WL. Now of course since its so late in the game all the places we were really wanting to try are gone. We will make due though as long as we are there.

I did get Narcossee's on our anniversary, Keys to the Kingdom tour, and the breakfast safari for CL guests. So that is good enough for me.
