:banana::cheer2::woohoo::cool1::hippie:

I've got all my ADR's booked, all my days figured out, and everything is paid for. All that's left now is to squirm with anticipation as we wait to go.

Of course the little one isn't squirming. He doesn't even have a clue we are going yet! :rolleyes1

Here's some thoughts on this week I put in another thread:

The first week in March is great, we've been there at least 8 times since 1999, moderate crowds, highs in the mid 70s, 80s not uncommon and little rain. This year the Flower& Garden thing starts early with free concerts in WS and ESPN Weekend is on at DHS, but the actual rides and attractions are not negatively affected. As March goes on, crowds built to a peak at Easter.

Hey there neighbor. And fellow PSU alum too! Thanks for the tips. I'm really excited about seeing the beginnings of the Flower and Garden festival, and glad to hear that ESPN the weekend doesn't affect ride lines too much. Mardi Gras is the next week, so I'm expecting our last Saturday and Sunday to pop up a bit on the crowd levels, but, other than that, looks like a great week!

Hi everyone! So excited to be almost there...

I was a bit surprised to see that the crowds are projected to be 9s most days we're there--don't get me wrong; I'm no stranger to crowds, having made numerous trips Christmas week and our most recent trip being Easter week of last year--but since our week (March 13-20th) is nowhere near Easter this year, I was expecting a little lower. Like 7s or 8s. Is it really just because spring breaks in general start that week? It seems a bit suspect to me that the parks would be only a bit less crowded that week than they will be Easter week. I know some schools will be off, and colleges, but it can't be anywhere near the number of schools that are off for Easter.

Thoughts?

Not sure where you are from, but here in Canada, that is the primary week of our "march break"... so you may be bombarded by a bunch of Canucks ;)

We are booked to go March 20-26 staying at the Contemporary:cool1: We have all our ADRs made and will be paying off our trip next Friday :thumbsup2 Then all we have to do is wait :dance3: I am hoping it won't be so crazy crowded since Easter is so late this year :confused3!!! We can't wait!!

I think most MN schools are on spring break that week. That's why we're going then too! I saw the 9s and was a little bummed, but it can't be any worse than when we went in summer. Crowded and HOT! Plus, keep in mind those numbers are primarily based on wait times for the big ticket rides. We don't usually go on a lot of the big coaster type rides, so we're hoping it's okay. We'll just have to deal with it!

Seems odd to me! We're there the 18th-25th and I don't have a membership at Touringplans.com, so I can only see that the 18th is a 9/10. I expect it to be higher on the weekends, but honestly, the fact that I have pretty much had no issue at all moving around my ADRs this late in the game (even for the biggies like Ohana, Le Cellier, etc) makes me question the high rating. How can it be that busy in the parks and the availabilities of the restaurants be so open? Doesn't make sense. :confused3

Woot! :thumbsup2 Great feeling, isn't it? We've been paid in full for some time, but man is it nice not to have that bill hanging over you. :woohoo:

Going March 2-6 with my boyfriend! This will be his first trip to Disney (my 10th). We're staying at POFQ and have all our ADRs booked.

I'm so excited...40+ days seems like an eternity!

My wife and I are booked for the 3rd through the 7th at AKV in a Savahnna view 1 bedroom. I've never stayed there, we always do Beach Club or Saratoga Springs (my parents home resorts for DVC). We wanted to experience something different through. No kids coming with us... and my wife's first visit not pregnant. We couldn't be more exicted!

:welcome: We'll be at POFQ at the same time (1-9 March).

Have to go to Florida for work in March, my 6yo dd is flying down with me and spending a couple of days with in-laws. I'm planning a surprise trip to Disney for the end of our stay. First time staying on property, first girls trip and can't wait to see her face when we arrive at ASMo. Staying 3/25-3/28- can't wait to see you there! We'll be the one's with ear to ear grins!!!!

I am doing that myself in about 5 minutes!!:cool1:

I'm not one to worry about crowds, but my traveling companions do. They are concerned about the 8's & 9's during our trip (March 10th-19th). However, I've experienced the same thing you have. No ADR situations with Le Cellier, and we even moved CRT Breakfast around 2 months ago with no problems. :confused3

I'm thinking the crowds are going to be really hard to pinpoint because Spring Breaks are really spread around, so past years aren't going to be such a good indicator.

Just booked my solo trip for my birthday! I will be down March 3-6th, before my AP expires! Will be staying at All Star Sports!! I have never stayed there....so this should be interesting.
So excited that I also booked the new Wild Africa Trek!! :yay:

Never been down during ESPN weekend - does that affect things much?:confused3

According to what I've seen so far, it does up the numbers a bit, but not like some of the other major events... and nothing like summer or spring break. Seems like most of the traffic was centralized on HS?? But, its new to me too, so maybe a more experienced March visitor could comment...

We are going March 19-26 and staying at the Polynesian. This will be the first trip we have made during Spring Break. Looking forward to cooler weather and hoping for smaller crowds.

I currently have an Illuminations cruise booked for March 1st. There are still 5 spots left and looking for someone that would like to split this with our family.
Ask me any questions and let me know if you are interested.

We stayed at Sports in 2009 and enjoyed our stay there. I have no complaints, the staff was helpful and friendly and our room was very clean. Room service left us towel animals and mickey heads several times as well. I'm sure you'll have a great time !

just want to share our countdown that Megan and I made this afternoon!!!
